Not too bad of a show. Bee has had some terrible luck this year along with it being underplayed, but Adam, it has other slots than 1st too.

13k San Francisco? 7k would have been absolutely fine. Mike, more $$$$$ doesn't mean a damn thing, please realize this.

Bonkers was better today, but she really failed on <7 on a waverunner.

Liney is oddly on a 2-week rotation... hmm.

I think the DOB was an emergency forced one after 3X, honestly.

I'm disappointed at a 4.5 minute pir.com with just Drew and random piano guy talking, but nothing on the latest 3X win.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Lineup:

Spelling Bee: L

Switch?: W

Pushover: L

Pick a Pair: W

Bonkers: L

Line em Up: W

So we go 3/6 today. Not bad for a start.

Nice to see Spelling Bee again, it would be funny if she got all C's

At least the girl in Bonkers listened to Drew by not looking at the audience. Still she loss.

$13,000 trip to SF is wayy sexed-up.

I knew a DOB was coming, those showcases were obviously cheap

Just to let you know that this was Richard's DiPirro's last show. We'll miss you Richard.

1. It was also nice to see Spelling Bee for a car that doesn't suck!

2. That's Pick-a-Pair for you. One of the easiest games on the show gets played for some of the more expensive prizes.

3. That DOB was so not expected. Even most of chat got fooled.

4. I know. Sad thing, isn't it?

Pretty good show today. Only really bad thing was a mindless mutter about something after the second Showcase Showdown, but other than that, Drew did a decent job hosting.

-Spelling Bee! Nice to see you again. What terrible luck, today.
-Switch? was kind of easy. Glad it was won.
-Push Over wasn't too bad. At least she made a reasonable guess.
-Pick-A-Pair was easy. Those breath strips weren't 99 cents and I always know the price of Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. :-D
-Bonkers was just too bad. We actually had a contestant who listened to the "best instructions Drew gives on the show" and yet she thought the waverunner was under 7K. That was so disappointing.
-Line Em Up was great. Great contestant and she was so....lively. Glad it was won.

Perri was just the best kind of contestant in my book. So excited and she knew what she was doing.
I wish Drew didn't spend so much time talking about some guests. They were there; let's move on.

What EVIL showcases.

Spelling bee and pushover had bad luck and Bonkers was just plain EVIL the setup I'm talking about. Switch, PaP and Line Em Up were easier.  There was no way bonkers woulda been won.

Bonkers was pretty evil, counterintuitive too. Most people think most of those end in -99 or -89 or some 9. They also might not know it's >$7,000.

I think today was Dipirro's last taped show, it was said in chat that it was, and it's also the fourth anniversary of Barker's last taping.

Pretty average show. Unfortunately, Drew was pretty disinterested today. He all but stopped hosting after the third C in Spelling Bee (hey, CAR cards are still possible). He also couldn't have delivered that extended priceisright.com plug with less enthusiasm if he'd tried. It's OK, Drew, I've never heard of that pianist guy either, but since it's your show you're supposed to sell it. And speaking of the guest, he was good on piano but it just all feels pointless now.

Man, Bonkers is in such a RUT this season. Either we get people who can't play it competently at all or we get ones who can, like today, but get tripped up by the pricing aspect.

Today's showcases were as close to a forced DOB as it gets. I can't understand also why the San Francisco trip in Pick A Pair needed to be worth more than the Nepal trip in the showcases. What exactly made San Francisco so expensive?

Does Adam really like Line 'em Up all of a sudden? This is its 3rd playing in 5 weeks - odd.

Timings:
Spelling Bee (6) - 5:09
Switch? (3.5)- 3:15
Push Over (4) - 3:34
Pick A Pair (4.5)- 4:17
Bonkers (4.5) - 3:15
Line 'em Up (5.5) - 4:51
Total (28): 24:21

What EVIL showcases.

The Fiesta in itself is $15K when not sexed up. The Carlsbad trip was $9365, as per Whinbaby, when it was a five night trip last time on the show at that hotel. Must have been a cheaper room or something. THe aquarium was $2095 last time on the show, and $500 in cash(ARP of this showcase $22767).  They must have used a different rock climbing wall than the $8299 seen last time one was on the show(ARP of this showcase $20098). No way is Nepal only $3K and change, given the prices of the other prizes(Rock climbing equip 1570 last time on show, Yosemite trip $3915 last time on show, and $3K in cash)
