Yet another contestant stymied by the fondue set (this time in 1/2 Off). In fact, several, if not many, of the prizes offered today have been offered before. Again I'll say it, and we all know it: Watching the show regularly can pay off.

Thinking about the Range Game: Remember when a contestant actually going to see the prize he or she just won in a pricing game was a rare event? It feels a lot different when it's not spontaneous.

I thought Check-Out was tough today. Guess it should be tougher than usual when played for a car. My total was low by about $2.50.

Lot of rough edits today. A bit off-putting to me, considering how things flowed on the show years ago.

Compared to the crapfests we've had this week, this was actually a decent show. The lineup was pretty nice (always nice to see Safe Crackers 6th), and we got good wins (Range Game comes to mind).

After a great streak with Check-Out just a bit earlier this season, we now have 2 losses in a row. :-(

Well, what do you expect? A car in a non-car game won?  :P

Cliff Hangers last month doesn't count, either.

Yeah, the cheap blender vs. the fondue set was familiar on both sides. And the carafe is a ubiquitous Cliffhangers prize. And for once, the money actually did pour out of the 1/2 Off box.

It seemed pretty clear that the Check-Out player had lowballed some items. Garbage bags are expensive and that was a pretty big bottle of syrup.

I think Dakota was going to have an overbid.

Well i can't believe Check Out was played for a car today not so usual. And Nice wins in Any Number, Range Game, and Most Expensive. Half off had bad luck and so did Safe Crackers.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

This was a decent show given the setups (although Safey should have been won), but I hated C/O being "used" again. Also didn't like the low Rangey.

They're intentionally picking people who don't watch regularly so they can use evil products like that over and over, where have you been?

This...Any Number was particularily hard to watch.

Also, they played Bhen in Check-Out!   :-D

Any Number, as usual, was noticeable edited to shreds.

Most Expen$ive's prize combo was the most reasonable one I've seen in the game in ages.

Check out for a car was pretty rare. Usually Hi-Lo is played for a car

This the eighth time Check-Out has been played for a car since Roger was fired.  In that same timespan, Hi Lo has only been played for a car three times.

Average show is average. Nice to see Any Number continue its winning ways though - it really is much easier to get that repeating digit with the used number board right there. Also, THIS is how Check-Out for a car should be set up - this was tricky, but definitely reasonable compared to previous car setups in that game.

Timings:
1/2 Off (5.5)- 4:09
Any Number (5)- 4:27
Range Game (4) - 3:10
Most Expensive (3.5)- 4:18
Check-Out (5.5) - 6:08
Safe Crackers (4.5)- 3:58
Total (28): 26:10

Hey, I thought they didn't ask this question ... "Do you watch the show?" (OK, I realize you're probably being sarcastic, but still ... .).
