Magic # should never be this hard... just, never. And then Rat Race was pretty lenient. It's this transparency that is really annoying.

Also, we should be past 1xxxx in Dicey...
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Flip Flop wasn't gonna be won because the setup was too hard. I'm glad that asian guy won his showcase.

One Wrong Price was horribly evil. That washer/dryer seems to always be expensive, so I don't get that.

Just an average run of the mill show, complete with most of the games being set up to be lost, which felt odd and a bit disappointing on the 2nd day of the season. In particular, Magic # was as forced a loss as I've ever seen in that game. It's tempting to group today's contestant in with our usual not-so-bright contestants who play that game, but in fact, if that were normal luggage, 1064 would be a reasonable answer as to what could be just over its price. Flip Flop and One Wrong Price weren't much easier, although at least both winnable.

The bright moments of today's show were seeing more classic clips (I knew Yolanda would be "coming out" of the vault at some point), and seeing another Rat Race win. The lineup in general was also fairly enjoyable.

I really didn't miss the forced conversations in showcases; can we not do that again, please?

The ending of Grocery Game was odd. It seemed Rachel took a shortcut to add the pasta sauce, which wouldn't have been such a big deal except that even a casual viewer would have noticed that her math was off by one cent! It's not something that made a big difference in the game, but it just was a bit sloppy.

Timings:
Dice Game (4.5) - 3:48
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:11
Grocery Game (5) - 5:11
Magic # (4.5) - 4:19
Rat Race (6) - 5:02
Flip Flop (3.5) - 2:37
Total (27): 24:08

And now we get back to reality. Rolls screwing contestants over in Dice Game, hard setups (come on....Magic #, much like Pathfinder and It's in the Bag, really don't need to be made hard), and more designer crap. At least the Showcases were decent.

It unwise to start off with such a cheap prize in Grocery Game; you need to save those for the end. But he did a good job at approaching the target gradually with the last two prizes.

I love to see Magic #, but players continue to go way too low. Granted, luggage is sometimes cheap, but even if it was really cheap, she'd be barely over.

Looked like Gwen feared tipping over with the grill on the back of the Price is Right Train.

I could see that Dice Game loss coming from a mile away.  There had to be a low number in that price somewhere.  This loss was particularly painful because Amit was 3/4 of the way to a forced win.

1 Wrong Price was a forced loss.  That washer/dryer did not look like it was only $1,428.

This week's Grocery Game theme was "spaghetti dinner"... but today was the first time that Drew did not mention either the theme or Scott.  I suppose this is another S40 change that will make me want to stop watching mid-season, but perhaps I shouldn't judge after only two episodes.

Magic # was also a forced loss.  I had my magic number at $2,500 and that still wasn't enough to cover the designer luggage.  Mike, there really is no need to make Magic # this hard.  The contestants do a good enough job of that themselves.

Rat Race begins its season with a car win.  Worthless pink rat wins!

What the hell was Brandon bidding on in the showcase?  That SUV was an Escape, not an Escalade.

My showcase bids:
Waverunner--$19,107
SUV--$28,507
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
