Wheel of Fortune on CBC

Does anybody in Toronto (or possibly Canada) know why Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are being aired at 4 and 4:30pm on weekdays now?

All I know is our local CBC affiliate (CBET) does not air it at all because Detroit holds the rights.

Detroit also has to choose between Wheel and Jeopardy! or an hour of Feud. Having CBC air it would certainly help matters.

My CBC does Wheel at 4:30 and Jeopardy at 7:30, and they stuck an extra Coronation Street in the 7pm slot. I'm at a loss to explain it, myself.

Wheel at 4:30, an hour of Coronation Street at 7, Jeopardy! stays where it always was at 7:30 on CBLT Toronto.

To answer OP's question, I have no freaking clue.

CBET can't afford to pay Detroit market rates for Wheel and Jeopardy. It's higher than any Canadian city.
