Well, this WAS a pretty boring, lackluster one - kind of reminded me of some of the more blah ones of Season 39. The lineup was good, but we had a bunch of tougher games today and they were not pretty. 1/2 Off was tough but at least 1, maybe 2 SPs should have been had, Gas Money wasn't as hard as usual, Pocket had some tough luck, Hi Lo is always hard, etc. As a result, everything sort of blah-ed out and Drew even got into his usual depressed state which didn't help things. The forced loss Push Over to start the show didn't help matters either (seriously, fake 8799 and 7998?). At least One Right Price did its skunk-repelling job at the end. And that's about all I have here - just one to forget.

Timings:
Push Over (4) - 2:50
1/2 Off (5.5) - 5:36
Gas Money (5.5) - 4:38
Hi Lo (5) - 4:28
Pocket Change (5) - 5:22
One Right Price (3.5) - 2:46
Total (28.5): 25:32

Wow, did Drew ever come back down to earth today! After two good days for him, he really laid an egg on this show. He turned into Mumble Man on several different occasions, and it was especially noticeable during Hi Lo: "...mumblemumblemumble string cheese mumblemumblemumble..." There were three or four times today where he simply stopped hosting and went into autopilot mode.

Looks like were back to normalcy here...unfortunately. The setups haven't even been all that tough!

Granted, 1/2 Off was pretty bad.

Looks like we're down to only 5 games yet to be played: Clock Game, Golden Road, Pay the Rent, Shell Game, and Triple Play. The only one that surprises me is Clock Game, but there is one week skipped over, so....

As long as Pay the Rent doesn't show up, I'll be happy. :D

Wow... a forced loss to start the show, two terrible playings from Mark & Judy, suddenly not knowing the Ford Fusion unlike 5PT last week, and a very crappy Pocket total.

...Wow.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

5 was the third number of the price of the car in Pocket Change.  Evil... just evil.

And it's the return of the zillion-dollar wine vault.

My showcase bids:
Wine--$30,107
Car--$30,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

If the Shoe Rack is going to be first against the wall when the Showcase Revolution comes, can we make that dooping wine vault the next thing in line?

Not much to say other than to ponder if Gas Money's going to top out at 1-2 wins a season simply because it's so antithetical to what Price is about - there's no other game where you try to pick wrong prices, is there?

Not particularly, but there are games (Danger Price and 1 Wrong Price immediately come to mind) where you should not pick prize(s) with (the) correct price(s).

Today show was borning & Drew did not do a good job as host today.
A Big Rich Fields Drew Carey And Jeff Davis Fan For Ever From Kirsten

Rich Fields Thanks Kirsten. I pick out and supply all of my own clothing. That light gray suit is hard to pair with shirts and ties... but I think the lavender shirt and purple patterned tie pulled it all together.

My Favorite Announcers On The Price Is Right Are Johnny Olson Rod Roddy Rich Fields Jeff Davis.

I Met And Took Two Pictures With Jeff Davis On May 24, 2012 He Is So Nice And Kind In Person.

Rich Fields said this about Drew Carey will always be the first to defend Drew (Carey). He's one of the most genuine, down to earth people in Hollywood that I've ever met. He was the first to come to me and tell me that the show was going in a different direction. He assured me it was not his decision to let me go and I believe him. No one else was open and honest about it, but Drew was. We've continued working together on different projects and we stay in regular touch. We'll be good friends well into the future.

Why is the type of gameplay a factor of its W-L mark? Its record, simply put, is due to Mike always using deceptive cars in the game.

Although the lineup was decent, tough setups today and a couple of questionable calls by contestants brought the show down quite a bit.

There was no way Pushover was going to be won with that evil -99 trap.  1/2 Off wasn't set up much easier, although to my credit I would have had two of the three SPs correct.

Gas Money was lost by poor playing (I knew $22K was the car price right away, and my hunch was confirmed after $23K was wrong).  Also, the water was not exactly a smart pick in Hi-Lo.

I'm still convinced that the Pocket Change distribution needs to be modified such that there are more $0.25 cards and less nickels and dimes.  The $2 card can be reduced to $1 to compensate.

Leave it to an easy 1RP setup to save the day!  :-)

My Showcase Bids:
Portugal: $33,755 ($513)
Car / New York: $30,022 ($1,659)

I finally figured out that $20,000 wine cabinet!

One Bid 1: Uh, those bids were, uh....

Push Over: Initial thought 8799. Oh! the ol' 0 trickeroo.

½ Off: 16. That was my only pick. Didn't care if I lost.

Gas Money: It felt funny and bad that, after the 647 times Drew said to not pick the price of the car, Angela picks the price of the car.

Hi-Lo: Whoa! Didn't know string cheese was that high!

Pocket ¢hange: Hmm. I still want to root for a lot of change. Not to confident, though.

1 Right Price: Interesting idea of having the Manuela and Amber hold the price and one of them moves if she is picked. What is even more interesting is we have another close call from a skunked show.

Showcases: That new wall (or the New Door 5) kinda gives me an old trip skin feel to it whenever they do those trip shots.

Hmm.
