“For the premiere of season 30, CBS wanted to do a special primetime show. However, they asked that we also add a gimmick or a twist to make it truly special. I came up with the suggestion of taking the show on the road for the first time in its history." - Roger Dobkowitz

I doubt either car game was set up to be won today, but the ending of OA shouldn't have played out the way it did.

After such a strong lineup yesterday, it was a bit of a downer to see this one (26 minutes, no GP, 3 straight quickies, blah). Lineups like this really don't leave much to comment on, and Adam should know better at this point. Drew was in fine form today, as evidenced by One Away, and really every single game was winnable today (that sure doesn't happen often), but we're still running into bad luck on car setups. Not much to see here....

Timings:
Punch A Bunch (5.5) - 5:44
Money Game (4.5) - 3:43
Squeeze Play (3.5) - 3:28
Balance Game (4) - 4:18
Most Expensive (3.5) - 3:31
One Away (5) - 5:52
Total time (26): 26:36

Nice wins on Squeeze Play, Balance Game, and Most Expen$ive & pretty good haul on Punch A Bunch.

20 car game losses in a row - absolutely ridiculous!

Pretty good show overall, IMHO.

Usually someone mentions "the last of our First Four" or the completion of a "staggered sweep."

Another $2,500 Punchboard winner... but where's the big stuff?!

Carol absolutely refused to play along with Drew's "O, mighty sound effects lady" shtick in One Away.  About friggin' time.

My showcase bids:
:frts: --$30,107
MINI--$26,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Punch A Bunch could have turned out much worse than $2500.

Squeeze Play was BRUTAL.  I'm happy and shocked that it was won.

Another "Dice Game Price" in Money Game.  Is this becoming the new standard for this game?

Finally a contestant takes advantage of a painfully easy setup.  I love the new Balance Game.

Most Expensive was easy and won!!

One Away.  Mesh.  This game has gotten so ugly lately.

After Neil's bid, if you want to call it that, Phylis was practically a guaranteed winner.

I find it kind of mean that Neil lost out on Money Game because he did not suspect repeating digits in the price... and then, four games later, Carol got cheated out of a much-easier-than-it-has-been-lately One Away because she did suspect repeating digits. Almost like that's exactly what Mike wanted to happen.

At least what I'm sure Mike wanted to happen did not happen during Squeeze Play.

Also, good on Dylan for not being fooled by the scooter in Most Expen$ive.

Neil's losing Money Game is understandable, but his ridiculous underbid of England + Travel Trailer was not. Good job on Phyllis for not overpricing the Mini Cooper, though.

Money Game was evil on the show. Luckily we had 3 wins.
