Looked like a good playing of Lucky $even, defeating a sure loss with some savvy number picks.

As for Punch-A-Bunch, some rotten luck in that Angela only got $500. As an aside, I don't know if I had ever brought it up, and if I had I don't remember, but if the two top slips aren't found – the $10,000 and $25,000 slips – it might be a good idea to show afterward where they were hidden ... just for kicks.

Hey, contestants are having some good luck with Bargain Game! Another win, and that's always great to see. Glad that it's back and in the lineup – you can always count on this one for a win, IMO.

Money: Should've been won, IMO.

Bargain: Easy.

PaB: Tough luck for Angela.

Danger: I had a bad feeling the accessories were attached to the DP.

L7: Alexandra played this well, not saying 5 once!

NoT: Michael was in good shape after his first two Nows proved to be right.

Showcases: Both were a little cheaper than I thought.

Obviously not as good as yesterday, but still good nontheless.

So, why are ORP & Switch not getting weeks off despite Bargain? (Granted, #5973K might not have ORP, but...)

I can't believe how badly Money was played. The Ford should not cause that many problems up front.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Pretty blah show today, except for that Lucky 7 win! That was a real Mikestopper. Not much Mike could do about that one either - that one proved if you exacta the second digit, you definitely have a shot no matter what the rest of the price is. It's just rare to exacta the second digit. Other than that, this was pretty standard fare though. Money was Money, Punch was Punch, Danger was Danger, you get the drift.

Timings:
Money Game (4.5) - 4:00
Bargain Game (3.5) - 3:18
Punch A Bunch (5.5) - 6:13
Danger Price (4.5) - 3:33
Lucky $even (4.5) - 4:33
Now Or Then (5) - 4:51
Total (27.5): 26:28

The lineup and showcases had a nice, classic feel to it, and solid results to boot.  Solid, if un-spectacular way to end the week :)

After yesterday's bonanza, there was nowhere to go but down today.

They had some nerve putting 89 and 90 on the board in Money Game.  Unless we're playing Money Game in 1987, there is no excuse for that.

Somebody pick El Cheapo, dammit!

Lucky $even was attacked by 8s and 9s again... but Alexandra fought back with positive results.  She is damn lucky she called 6 on the last number instead of 5.

My showcase bids:
:frbs: --$30,107
Car--$30,107
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Danielle was foolish not to win money game. We had a pretty good show today with 3 wins.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

I expected the fridge to have the Danger Price, and that the accessories were ~$1500.

Drew did a good job today; he was definitely more enthusiastic than I have seen recently.

Obviously not as good of a show as yesterday, but this one still turned out quite well.

Aside from what's already been said about Money Game, I find it amusing that after Angela's last pick (while Drew was trying to find the winning number), there were people in the audience shouting out "EL CHEAPO!" So I guess El Cheapo has yet to die in the hearts of fans.

Bargain Game was a cheap set with an easy setup; I thought the grill was going to be >$3,000.

Danger Price was hard; I had no idea what was the one to avoid after the TV was picked. It didn't help that the pool table was even cheaper than normal.

Great win on Lucky $even! I figured the last digit would be 1, 2, or 8, but was leaning more towards 1 or 2; glad I was wrong, for Alexandra's sake! She overall made good choices, getting the first digit right on, leaning the right way on both the second and third, and then making sure her last guess covered the 8.

How often is Now or Then won by only getting three Nows? Normally a contestant finds at least one Then price. Pretty good win to end the day.

SC1 was pitifully short. SC2 was decent, even if the Water Cube isn't all it's cracked up to be for tourists (unless you really like indoor water parks).
