Bit of a bizarre one again today... fully lossless, and again the setups were surprisingly fair.

I'm still really surprised -95 was right in Temptation.

X was surprisingly not a cakewalk, and now we've been stuck on top lately. I kinda like less cakewalks.

You know, I guess it was mostly the daughter telling him to skip to 22, because I thought for sure 19 was coming next. I wonder if the daughter knew it or not. This is the first Gas bailout this season period, and again, leaving the right one in the center when Mike could have easily engineered a wipeout with a low extreme? Again... fair.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

You may want to check out your show results.

This was a great show all around, even if the Lineup could've been better.

Great Bailouts and wins made this Lossless Show. The hardest win I though was the Scret X, I was stumped by both of them.

It looks like Bargain game is Affecting 1RP more than Switch?  ;-)

F-F: Pretty much a forced win.

Temptation: For the most part, Mike got the bailout he wanted because most of the gifts' total value was in cash.

SX: It was never in doubt for Travis.

S?: Easy.

GM: I'm surprised Dennis come out of there with anything, given that people overprice Chryslers these days.

H-L: No PGs were really lost today!

Showcases: South Africa trips are usually big money, whether they're safaris or not.

Good show today, even though it wasn't quite up to par w/ yesterday.

A really fair show today with 4 wins out of 6. Temptation and Gas Money were the only 2 games that weren't gonna be won today.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

Kind of a nice, random mention of Kathy Greco by Drew after the contestant won Secret "X".

I agree that it was a pretty good show today. But for some reason, the contestant playing Temptation really annoyed me. At least she took the prizes instead of going for the car.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Today's show was full of fair setups. Even Temptation was fair (Winnable? Questionable, but still). Dang.

Drew, not rehearsing isn't something you should be happy about. Why don't you rehearse instead of send compliments to yourself in the mirror in the morning?

I felt like Drew's shout out to Greco was very random, and that he needs to explain who Greco is so that Joe Sixpack isn't left in the dust.

I must have missed the part where Drew mentioned he was happy about not rehearsing.  Where in the show was that?

He made a comment while explaining Secret "X" that went along the lines of "...I don't know, cause I skipped rehearsing." It could've been him making fun of himself, but I highly doubt it.

Not quite as good as yesterday, but this is the best 2-show stretch we've had in a long time. I don't really have much to say about this one though, except the setups were yet again fair, the contestants took advantage and Drew had another good day. Morningstar could have potentially been a really annoying contestant, but Drew handled her well. Nice to see Temptation in the 2nd slot for the first time since season 37 as well.

Man, those were REALLY expensive showcases for this late in the season....

Timings:
Flip Flop (3.5) - 3:00
Temptation (6) - 6:40
Secret X (4.5) - 4:36
Switch? (3.5) - 3:01
Gas Money (5.5) - 4:42
Hi Lo (5.5) - 4:11
Total time: 25:10

Pretty sure he was making fun of himself....
I don't think it was even him making fun of himself. He was saying that he didn't know where the X was on the board. When does the host really know the outcome outside of Pocket? He was just making a joke about why he didn't know where it was. Nothing more nothing less.

It's just funny that he acknowledged that on air.

I was glad the staff didn't take time to mic the contestants before she made it up on stage and played her game.

Nice Hi-Lo win today. Also, I liked hearing "$7,000" over and over in Gas Money. We don't often hear that on Price.

Nice wins on Flip Flop, Secret X, Switch?, and Hi Lo, and good bailouts on Temptation & Gas Money. :-)

Good show overall, IMHO.

I figured the "didn't go to rehearsal" line was a joke--Letterman sometimes says something similar iIrc.

Amazing that there were two cash bailouts on car games, counting Temptation's bailout since it was largely cash.  Those choices for the second and third numbers were brutal--TWO instances of choosing between consecutive digits? That's almost like double Pick-A-Number or something.  It's tough to know the difference among a $23,695 vehicle, a $24,695 one, a $23,795 one, and a $24,795 one.  That was going to be pure luck if won.
