Just noticed that the currently playing player got a kick from the boards, I'm assuming temporarily.  I know I don't have to point that out, but what is our policy in these predicaments?  Is the game forfeit?  Or does the next closest player play the game from the start (since nothing is revealed except the "gifts" in this case)?

Yes, just saw that a few folks got the boot.  Not sure why yet, but I'm sure the rumor mill will churn.

Here's what you do:  03F5man was the next closest bidder, and will play the game.  Send him a PM to alert him.

He may change any of the numbers if he wishes, and move on from there.

On my shows, when a contestant is unable to continue his pricing game, whoever is the second-closest to the actual price of the corresponding item up for bids without going over will replace the ousted contestant.

In this case, as sideshow pointed out, 03F5man will replace Gameshowboy92.  03F5man has the option of changing any of the three numbers Gameshowboy has made-the nine, the eight, and the seven.  Of course, he can leave any or all of them alone, if he chooses.

But while 03F5man is contemplating what numbers to change, I'd like to present the final gift.

The price is $500; is the last number in the price of the car zero or five, 03F5?

Okay, you want five to be the last digit in the price of the car.

DING

Now, in a moment, 03F5man, I'll ask you if you want to change any of the numbers your guess for the car's price.  But before I do that, would you like to change any of the numbers Gameshowboy92 already placed?

Okay, so you have a price of $19,875 for the car.  You took the numbers from these four price tags to make that price, and you've decided to leave the numbers Gameshowboy92 placed alone.  Would you like to make any more changes or would you like to leave that price alone?

Personally, I would change the 7 to a 1. Aside from that, it looks fine.

This.  I think the 1 is correct also.

I would leave it just as is.

My thought is that the host would prefer if this game was won (especially after that second digit), and the most obvious choices appear to be selected.

Okay, you now have a price of $19,815.

DING

03F5man, I have offered you $5,898 in gifts!  If you want, you can forget about the car and take these four gifts home with you, or you can go for the car.  But if you do, every one of those numbers must be correct in order for you to win the car and the gifts.  If you have even one of those numbers wrong, you won't win the car and you'll lose these gifts.  What is your decision?

He's going for the car, ladies and gentlemen!

(applause)

Now, I think you have the second number correct; not too many new cars cost $13,000 these days.

(hits button)

DING

Is the third number eight?

(hits button)

BUZZZZZZZZZZZZ(2007 losing horns)

No, it was a two!  The last two numbers were….

…seven and zero; of which you originally had the seven correct.  I'm sorry you didn't win the car, but you'll be back to spin the wheel later, 03F5man, goodbye!

(2007 main theme)(applause)

And he won't have to wait long; the first showcase showdown follows this announcement!
