There is some info in the FAQ about it.  I saw the show a few times in Atlantic City, and once got on stage and played Race Game.  The good part was that I got cash for my prizes, which was a nice deal, about $550 if I recall.

I was at the PiR Live show a month ago.  It was especially cool for persons who hadn't seen the TV version at TVC.  Anybody and I mean ANYBODY in the audience is eligible to be a contestant.  One guy got selected twice!

Todd Newton was hosting the show out there until the week I arrived.  I saw some unknown guy and his companion unknown announcer.  Now I don't know who hosts it...

It figures Todd wouldn't host Vegas PiR now, because he's due to do a Real Deal runthrough on the 27th.  Check the TALK is Right forum for details :)

(Digging up an old thread instead of posting a new one)

Does anyone happen to know who is currently hosting the Vegas show?  I'm going to be down in Vegas for a day or two next week and was thinking I might go see this (if I can make the schedule work out.)

Hi there,
I reside in Sin City and recently attended the Live Show. The one thing I tell everyone is:

1) If you never been to CBS, then it will be cute and you'll have fun. Get you a beer or glass of wine as alcohol is permitted.

2) The prizes are very inexpensive. When I attended, an item up for bids was a tennis racket, one was an ice cream maker. Therefore, lots of overbids.

3) When the first 4 contestants are called to come on down, you only have one chance. Everytime there is an IUFB, they call 4 new people.

4) They have a huge gold curtain that stays closed most of the time. The set itself only has 2 sets of big doors as opposed to three at Bob Barker Studio.

FINALLY,

5) The showcase: There is only one showcase. Both persons bid on it. The one I saw had a chair, a pooltable, a trip and a car.

If you were less than 100 dollars you won it. If you were less than 500 dollars, you won the pooltable. This being said, no one was given a thing because they both were off more than 500 dollars.

This was as of a month and a half ago.

Have fun!!

P.S. The games played when I attended were:

Clock
It's in the BAg
Hole in One
Race Game

Sorry, I can't recall the other two off the top of my head.

My highlight was watvhing the big wheel. Also, afterwards, Randy West and Todd Newton went out front and chatted with you. Todd stayed about 10 minutes, Randy stayed about 30 minutes.

Hope this helps.

I was contestant on The Price Is Right Live with Todd Newton In the beginning of Febuary. I played Plinko but I messed up the game and got all the prizes wrong and wound up with only 1 Plinko chip. All in all I won 171 dollars.
