6/7/13 FPG -- RESULTS

Everybody had good scores this week thanks to Cliff, Grand, and Away.  But only four people can play next week's FPG.  It was the appearances of the other three PGs--along with the slotting of Cliff and Grand--that decided the finalists.

vader didn't get the "4" bonus this week like he did earlier this season.  He didn't pick Grand.

Next week, we'll see who takes the trophy and the $3,000,000.

We have an issue... vader was permabanned.

Willy PMd me about his behavior in chat this morning.  I didn't want to say anything publicly until there was confirmation that he would be either suspended or banned.

Since he has apparently been banned now, he will automatically receive 4th place points and money in next week's game.  I can't in good faith disqualify his score for this week since his ban didn't happen until after the show, when all FPG scores become official.

It will be a three-person affair next Friday.

Actually, this has happened once before.  An FPG player named Schmolik displayed similar behavior toward a moderator many years ago.

Schmolik's issues weren't even close to what was displayed in chat today.  If memory serves, I was never treated the way a moderator was treated today.

Looking at these results, I'm quite pleased with my mock 9 MG/41 CP.

The only thing I'll chime in with regarding the vader banning is that I feel Fireball is ruling the situation in the best way possible for the game.

I always forget about Squeeze Play.  Always.  Also not sure why I also was so deadset that we were going to play Dice Game, either, but I kept predicting it every Friday...  and of course, the one Friday I pick Bullseye, they don't play it.  D'oh!

Either way, it has been a good season, especially for my first one playing FPG, and I'm still surprised I made it this far!   BRB, thanks for all you do with hosting the game, I've had a lot of fun.   And you can bet I will be back next year!

Whew! Glad to make it to the top 4. I was so worried about making it that when Grand arrived first, I was ecstatic. Yay! I'm glad to have some great competition and this has been a great FPG so far.

Damn.

I knew 4/18 wasn't going to be enough, but I didn't think it was going to put me in last place of all things. Sad thing is I deliberated Grand and TTM, and probably should have reasoned out ORP. Eh, only so much I can do. Frankly I'm shocked I got in the top 8 in these playoffs, feel I got kind of lucky. Ah well.

Thanks for the fun Fiery, hopefully will be back in 2013-2014, where my goal is at least 7th.
