Recapper's notes:

1) This is the last show on a regular schedule for the 41st season of The Price is Right. The next first-run episode will be next Thursday, July 4, 2013 for the Military Families Special (6413K). After that, no new episodes until August 16.

2) The winnings this week for the stepchild shows were atrocious: Including today's $36,287, we had a $34,683 on Thursday and $37,803 on Tuesday. Not really something you want to see in the winnings department.

3) We had One Wrong Price 4 times this week due to scheduling (6412K, 6065K, 6372K and 6332K), not bad to have a 3-1 record for them either.

4) Remember, sideshowPA and goldroadfanatic are hosting a G-R.net Live Show tonight, and enjoy you summer people.

Of course, a brutal ending to the regular season in another bad leftover.

Stack was actually set up to be fair... although it really shouldn't have been played. Yet it felt like Mike was expecting it to be won, with OWP, Switch and T2 set up for losses.

Whatever, I am so ready for the break. (After another military special that is likely to underwhelm, that is.)
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

And we end the season quietly with the "Mike gets his revenge after 3 Strikes was won on 6331K" show. Stack actually had its easiest, fairest setup of the season for some reason, which was nice, but was still meant to be lost, and so was everything else but Cliff Hangers, which was exactly what happened, blah. Drew wasn't at his greatest today either. At least we saw Take Two? (and we may actually see it again, on 6284...)

Timings:
Cliff Hangers (4.5) - 3:49
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 2:56
Temptation (6) - 6:16
Coming Or Going (3.5) - 3:09
Stack The Deck (5.5) - 5:41
Take Two (4.5) - 4:15
Total (27.5): 26:06

Always the bastion of positivity.

Found it hilarious that we ended up with a fourth One Wrong Price today. Too bad it wasn't won.

And that's the fairest I've seen Stack the Deck in a long time. A 5 as the last number!

And yay! Take Two and Temptation!

After Cliffy, the rest of this leftover went south.........And by south, I mean "The Deep South".

As for Stack (And forgive me for using a Nickelback reference)...........BURN IT TO THE GROUND!!!!!!

So to paraphrase one of the lyrics to "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch", "The three words best describe these leftovers are as followed, and I quote..........Stink, Stank, Stunk!!"

Funny..........That should also be implied to Richards for some reason. Oh well..............

Nothing new until the 4th of July (And I'm not too crazy about it since it's gonna be another couples themed show...........again, but who knows?), so until then..............

I agree.  I'd also like to see that happen to That's Too Much.

Although That's Too Much! is pretty well-hated by everyone, the odds are only 7-1 against winning (assuming that the very first and the very last prices won't be the correct ones).  In Stack The Deck however, if you're picking at random and the first digit is not immediately obvious (as it wasn't today; I was calling low $20k for that Civic), the odds are 719-1 AGAINST winning.  If the first digit is obvious, the odds improve to 359-1 AGAINST.  This assumes that no freebies are won.

By comparison, 3 Strikes will always come down to a 50:50 blind draw on the final shot (one number one strike).  If you do everything right in Stack The Deck, and you can still peg the first digit in the price of the car, you have three options for the last as-yet unrevealed number in the price.  That's a 1-in-3 shot (and depending on the last unrevealed digit, it can be, and often is, a shot in the dark).

Having finally gotten around to watching this episode, I'm a bit baffled by Stack the Deck, one of Mike's go-to forced loss games, suddenly having a full-on Roger setup the day after a 3 Strikes win.  Don't get me wrong -- I enjoyed it.  I'm just stumped as hell as to how it came about.

Building off of that, Take Two was actually harder than Stack the Deck.  That's weird.
