Great 1/2 off win, and of course the Stack win plus a couple of dollars on the wheel. Nice start to the week.
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

My two cents:

Range Game: Great to see it back, and great to see it won.
$100,000 1/2-Off: What a playing! A perfect score in the SP's, a $1,000 bonus, and a $100,000 win!
Cover-Up: Tough luck.
Easy as 123: Great to see it back, too. But I never thought that TV was so pricey.
Double Prices: I knew the higher price was the right price for a pair of ATVs.
Stack the Deck: At long last, the 22-month-long losing streak is over with!

And kudos to Cassidy for winning an extra $1,000 on the Big Wheel and a BMW in the Showcase! $104,000 in cash (including the $2,000 spa money in the Showcase), over $36,000 in prizes! The 2nd biggest daytime winner in TPIR history, by a margin of only $1!

Cassidy was a 5/15 bonus spin and $124 away from DSW from being the biggest winner ever. Now that's what you call running good.

I was amazed Stack the Deck was set up properly.  Having a decent player helped, too.

1/2 Off was just way too easy, though.

For a week when "over a million dollars" worth of prizes are to be given away, I'm a little surprised that a trip was the first prize offered. But since we finally got to see Range Game, and it was won, I'll hush.

$100,000 1/2 Off went about as well as I would have expected. Easy setups and a lucky guess with 5. Mike must have wanted a big win to start off the week, and he got it.

Soooo close in Cover Up. How many times has it been won since they started replacing the wrong numbers with other random things?

I wasn't expecting Easy to be won after seeing that outdoor television. I knew it was the most expensive, but not nearly as expensive as it was. Dang....

Double Prices was a gimme.

Stack The Deck had a proper setup? And it was won? Ladies and gentlemen, I believe hell has frozen over! Excellent win!

One word can sum up my thoughts on the showcases...

$12,000?

Great start to Big Money Week. Now I'll just have to try my best to forget about what I saw in that damn spoiler CBS just had to air... :-?
Pardon my language, but I do believe we all need to calm the f*** down.

Stack the Deck was nothing short of amazing to watch.  It was amazing that the grocery setups were all fair, that all three numbers were earned, and the game was won for the first time in nearly two years!  It's a shame that Terrence didn't go through to the showcase; I would have loved to see him play alongside Cassidy, to be honest.

I find it totally amazing that Cassidy became the second all-time biggest winner in the daytime show's history, by just one dollar!  She beat out Denise, the winner on Bob's last show in 2007.  If only she had bid a couple hundred dollars more on her showcase, or if she had won some bonus money on the wheel, she would have really busted the budget and became the all-time daytime show winner.  Personally, I thought the showcase was in the low $30,000 range, so when Drew said "37," I was amazed at how well she bid.

Range: Not bad of a start.

1/2 Off: Can't do it any better!!!!!

Cu: I thought the ARP would be $17,189 after he locked in his first guess. He actually did get the usually-evil fourth digit, but not the last one.

Eazy: Tough break.

Double: Should've been won.

StD: About as easy as it will get- a win here at last!

SCSDs: Two dollar spinners, one of whom was even Cassidy!!!!

Showcases: You know, it's usually hard like today to stop a monster winner in anyone's tracks heading into this rd.- I'm so happy Cassidy started out this week on the right foot!!!!!!!

Range Game: I personally thought that was pretty easy.

$100,000 Half Off: I was really glad they upped the stakes for this.  Mike set up the SPs fairly.  But it was a tossup with two boxes left.  This was based on psychology.  Was it either 5 or 14?  I picked 14.  Cassidy picked 5.  I lost.  I loved Cassidy's $100,000 reaction.

Cover Up: This was hard.  There were two traps in today's setup...the Gavazzi theorem on the fourth digit and the 0-5-9 trap on the last number.  I had a hunch the fourth digit was 2 and I picked 8 for the last digit due to the paint and fabric protection.  I didn't expect a three as the last number.  Oh well.

Eazy as 1-2-3: More like HARD as 1-2-3...for today's setup.  The accessories were easy. the other two--yuck.  The TV most expensive?  Tough luck.

Double Prices: This was an easy setup IMO....BLOWN.

Stack the Deck: I was glad Terrence won this.  I think Mike wanted to set up this game fairly today.  Losing streak is broken!!!  Although I was a bit dissapointed Drew said "You Got It!!!" in a monotone voice.

I really wanted a Terrence/Cassidy showdown in the showcases.  Oh well.

Showcase: $12,000 for the first showcase?!   That would work...in the 1980s.   I thought Cassidy was over.  But when Drew said $37,3...I thought great bid.  Cassidy, great win!!!  $104,000 in cash...second biggest winner in the history of the Price is Right...you deserve it.  Put the money to good use.  I'm happy for you.

Range Game: Nice win there, and great to see it again.
1/2 Off: For $100,000 = Played it perfectly, and great pick.  #5 for the win!
Cover Up: Great gameplay, but so close....
Eazy as 1-2-3: The Outdoor HDTV higher than the pool table?  What are the odds of that?
Double Prices: Should've been won.  That was too easy.
Stack The Deck: At long last, a perfect play of this game!  When was the last time we saw something like this?

Showcase Showdowns: 2 $1000 wins from both showdowns!  Great job!

Showcases: Wow.... $12,000?!  Did you even add the party boat to it?
Fantastic win with the BMW, and a fantastic $37,000 bid.

Over $225,000 won overall; a solitary good show!

Of course, things can go wrong in a hurry on the next show....

This was a really great show -- these are the production values the show should strive for!

Yes and no. On the "yes" side, absolutely Half and Stack should be set up this way more often. In fact, if Stack were set up like it was today, it would still sometimes be lost, and if you even made one of those GP pairs hard, it would frequently be lost without seeming overbearing in the process. They just need to learn how to tinker with it to reach these happy mediums. Today was the first sign I've even seen that they know how to set it up easy, so hopefully more medium setups come soon. As for Half, it was nice to see that fairly open too, but man. On the "no" side to being good production values, is it really worth sacrificing a good part of a season to flat out give away 100k easily on a whole show? And yes, I know we've had really easy setups for big prizes on Roger season premieres and the like, but he usually found a way to bounce back from that, whereas I think here we were just saving up to give it away all in one week. If we see more balance later on in the season between difficult and easy setups, I will redact this argument, but I am wondering about that.

That being said, the fact Cassidy not only aced Half but also spun 1.00 and won a BMW showcase to give her 2nd all-time winnings by (amazingly) $1 certainly made this memorable. Cassidy deserves lots of credit for making good decisions throughout the day (and of course some luck on the wheel) - it's not like this was entirely handed to her.

The "6420s were really premiere week" theory is beginning to hold more water. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more big showcases this week and they were in fact showcases originally planned for premiere week. In particular, I'm expecting something huge on 6421K. Do The Math getting played on 6421K would also help this theory.

Fairly excellent show today, one might almost say... spectacular.

Range Game was fairly simple. Price was right in the middle of the range.

1/2 Off was played about as well as I've ever seen it. I really thought they'd go for some cheap tricks to try and make sure she didn't up with the 50/50 shot at winning the money, but, it really wasn't the case. That $100,000 win was well deserved.

Cover Up was depressing, though. He looked like he really knew what he was doing with the numbers and the 5 or the 0 looked right on the end of the car. Too bad it didn't pan out.

Eazy az 1-2-3 was a little tricky, I figured the TV would be in the mid $3,000 range, but, $4,000+ is unusually expensive.

Double Prices was obvious. Nearly $7,000 for both ATVs only made sense.

Stack the Deck was the other big highlight of today's show and it was played as well as 1/2 Off was. It looked like they were going with some dirty tactics with the $4.00 bagels, but, he bucked the trend there and it paid off nicely. Kudos to him for picking the last three numbers, as well. After that, either $18,000+ or $21,000+ were the clear choices.

Cassidy really did clean up today. After her opponent bid only $12,000, I was just hoping she wasn't over. And less than $100 away from a double showcase win still put her total winnings at over $140,000. This was the way to kick-off Big Money Week!
