Explain how Coming or Going was a forced loss.  There were three items, and the correct price ended in 7.

xxx9 * 3 = xxx7

Yes, and xx45 / 3 = xx15 which is also perfectly reasonable. I'd even say it's MORE reasonable given 3 (actually 4) disparate prizes, opposed to 3 appliances.

Lessee...Pool table was $1300, Ping Pong $630, $2600 TV which leaves 877 for the XBox. (The XBox pkg on ep 6451K was $800 and $580 on ep 6493K).

Do you have a problem with revealing the punches after a person walks away?  What about revealing the bonus window or shell with the ball underneath it if no windows/chips are won?  How is that any different than this?
I don't know if you're talking to me or not, but if you are, please don't take anything that I posted today the wrong way, OK? I didn't mean to offend anyone........I was just making a statement, is all. I am sorry.

The whole thing, in general, has pretty much gotten out of hand.

from what I saw today at least none of them acted like a certain one did last year chanting GO OVER during the showcase showdown

So, um... yeah.

I believe I recall reading in a previous thread that Mike wasn't all that crazy about doing another kids special. While this idea might be a little far-fetched, I think he might have half-assed this special just so CBS/Fremantle won't ask for another one next season. I'm probably wrong, but one can hope, anyways...

I don't like how Devin wasn't allowed to choose where to punch the holes on his own. It's punching holes, for crying out loud. It's not like the chances of big money being won would have been any less had he punched the holes without any input. With that being said, the $5,000 bailout was nice.

Well, once again...........They don't call these "specials" for nothing.

Whether my theory applies here or not, I at least thought the prizes in this special were a little more thought-out than some of the others as of late. This isn't a special where Cadillacs and BMWs should have been given away, but the prizes the did use were very fitting.

Dice Game was so mean-spirited...........Same with Rat Race. And speaking of Rat Race, this is something that really irks me: Since it was wiped out today, Drew still forced the rats to race. I still don't understand why bother racing the rats if that game had a wipeout..............I mean, what's the point in doing that, anyway?! Personally, I think if Rat Race gets a wipeout and you have a race anyway, it tends to lose a good amount of interest and it doesn't seem to make much sense, if at all............Unless they just want to kill time or something. Either way, it didn't help much that it had another malfunction with one of the rats.

I don't know...maybe Drew thought the folks at home would want to see where the rats would place? Seriously, there was nothing wrong with the rats racing.

CoG was NOT meant to be won, but at least it showed the XBOX 360 and not that crappy XBOX ONE.

Considering that the XBOX 360 was released 8 years ago, I can't believe they are still offering it on the show, especially with its successor having been released this year. I don't know if the ONE was in stores at the time this show was taped, but they should have subbed the 360 for a Wii U, regardless.
Pardon my language, but I do believe we all need to calm the f*** down.

I didn't get that either.  Unless they were afraid that the kid, being short, would just go for four holes on the bottom row, which is where we all know both the 10K and the $25K are lurking :-D

I was talking to you; I just thought this topic was still going on, so I didn't quote your post.  Anyways, I'm not offended or anything like that; I was just wanting to know what makes Rat Race different from the other games (if anything at all).  It's like when people say they don't like 1/2 Off, since perfect pricing doesn't guarantee a win, yet seem to forget the same holds true for Spelling Bee, Secret "X", Hole in One, and so many other games.

The Xbox ONE was released in North America on November 22, 2013; after this episode was taped. They probably just wanted to unload whatever Xbox 360 stuff they had left, not a big deal.
