Well, it was nice while it lasted.

THE BAD NEWS:

IITB: Eileen and Chanel should've kept the $2K.

Money Game: I think a lot of us were fooled by the "front and back" method today.

TTM: Now, Michael..................There's a old saying: "Respect your elders". Bonnie was right and he had to butt in and made her go one more...........He should've just kept his mouth shut and let her stick with her choice. Obviously, there is no one is blame here except him. He really stepped on Bonnie's toes over that and that really cost them.

THE GOOD NEWS:

CoG: Nice win by the two Rays!

Switch?: Easy win by Sandra and Edilma!

Bonus Game: Good thing the board game was the "bonus"............Good on Willard and Jessica!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

Pretty average 1/2 and 1/2 show and the first aired 2014 show, but nothing to get too excited. Even though this is taped on September, I think we're getting too much Lawrence..........At least he didn't go overboard on the pointing.

The fact that this recap was posted shortly after the show aired and only one response has been posted in the last 5 hours pretty much sums everything up.

Always listen to grandma in TTM. She seemed pretty pissed when the price of the truck was revealed. Michael owes here a little more than just a dinner...

Are we finally done with Lawrence Saint Points-A-Lot now?
Pardon my language, but I do believe we all need to calm the f*** down.

Or more like, "Are we finally done with the 'tenured soap stars being Price models' trend now?"

Looks like we start 2014 with a 3/6 show and neither car game being won.

It's In The Bag was kind of funny with Drew asking Rachel and Lawrence when they last ate a fruit roll-up. :-)

Are we finally done with Lawrence Saint Points-A-Lot now?

Looking at the official calendar on priceisright.com, I assume today is his last day guest modelling. This show was taped 9/10/13, back when we were all concerned about the "family" breaking apart. Hopefully we'll be good the rest of the month.

Rob is an actor on the web version of All My Children. The viewership ain't exactly the same as Y & R, these days...

Also not only was it the front-back situation, but it's also the year of the current version's debut! (19 and 72 = 1972).
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

And the internet version of AMC didn't last long, anyway. It had its series finale on September 2, 2013.

Also not only was it the front-back situation, but it's also the year of the current version's debut! (19 and 72 = 1972).
Looking back on that (seeing that this special was taped on a September), it pretty much makes sense.

Starting off the year with another "special" episode. *shakes head*

Previous posts have already mentioned "pointing Lawrence" and the costly TTM decision. I'll just say that 1) I liked how Drew kept a running money total and gave the final amount won in Money Game, and 2) George's "It's not a car" joke is getting really old.
