I've heard that sometimes the green rubber ball on today's Shell Game playing got replaced with a white rubber ball with The Price Is Right logo on it. It looks like that white ball was eventually seen on The Price Is Right Slots game on Facebook.

Grand Game: 1 of my favorite games. Awesome way to start a week! Some of the brand names were recognizable to me. I'm a regular consumer of Rold Gold products and although I'm not a person who eats candy very often I have eaten Reese's miniatures before. Why not have George say the names instead of being so amen generic. It would make for a better presentation. As for the gameplay I felt we we're going to see a win once the price of the Band Aids was revealed. The air freshener stood out as likely to be over the target price. What a great way to start the week by seeing $10000 won.

Bargin Game: Easy setup. The 65 inch Samsung tv was a great prize and we get another winner.

Cover Up: The lucky theme was good. Not a bad attempt by today's contestant but alas the Dodge Avenger wasn't to be won. Too bad.

Shell Game: 1 of my favorite games. Some very nice prizes won here including the contestant's row prize for this segment. I like the new TPIR ball that revealed today's win. Apparently either the potential bonus has been eliminated or it is now only mentioned if the contestant earns the chance to play for it since it wasn't part of the start of game rules explanation. Great win. The right hand side was lucky. Good thing the heart shaped bowls were won as the 2nd chip turned up a winner.

Pick a Number:. Nice win of a nice prize.

That's Too Much: Too bad to end with a loss. I'd have lost by stopping at spot 2. With a Volkswagen Beetle I knew it wouldn't be too far in.

Showcases:The Fiat showcase that was won was the better showcase.

Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Pretty decent episode today.

THE BAD NEWS:

C-U: So the theme of today were "good luck charms"...........And yet, St. Patrick's Day isn't until March (mostly due to the four-leaf clover) so that can't be relevant, can it? Shouldn't they wait until that holiday to use that said theme? Then again, how ironic to put that now and very unfortunate for Jeanette. At least she did get a car in the end.

TTM: I thought that the setup was a little tricky, by putting up that Beetle.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Grand Game: I thought it was a good thing that Sabreena avoided the candy and the air freshener for the win.

Bargain Game: A slightly easy setup since the TV was the better bargain.

Shell Game: Good win by Katherine and it was cool to see the new ball with the Price logo.

PaN: Easy win by Graciela!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

No car game wins, but it was still a good show today. And enough with the "People win this game all the time" with Grand and "It's a tough game........" on TTM.

But she could have another car had she known that not all cars end with 0 or 5.

But she could have another car had she known that not all cars end with 0 or 5.

Not only is this unnecessarily repetitive, but that doesn't even guarantee a win.  There were six choices for the last digit of the price, and four of them were neither 0 nor 5...

How is this repetitive? You telling others your same response? Im just stating facts.

Because you repeated the same thing twice, possibly by accident:

Maybe Jeanette will now know that cars don't always end with 0s and 5s.
But she could have another car had she known that not all cars end with 0 or 5.

Have to agree with DJ. Cars have ended in 0s and 5s quite a bit before in Cover Up. Hard to criticize a contestant for trying that, especially since the last digit is the hardest and a complete guess. (Not counting when the Gavazzi theorem is used.....)

(Also it should be noted you are stating your opinion, not facts. I too am stating my own opinion on the subject.)

What does being "open-minded" have to do with taking a random guess in a game like Cover Up?

Apparently either the potential bonus has been eliminated or it is now only mentioned if the contestant earns the chance to play for it since it wasn't part of the start of game rules explanation.
I tend to doubt it was eliminated. It's probably like that stretch of episodes after Clock Game had the 4-digit prizes removed from the bidding section, and a bonus prize was added for getting both 3-digit prizes, but Drew wasn't mentioning the $1,000 bonus, leading to some confusion on whether or not they were still giving away the $1,000 bonus (judging by his mentioning it in at least the last playing, they are). This is a big reason on why I'm not a fan of only mentioning the Shell Game cash bonus three shells or whatever into the game. Shell Game's been played, what, three times this season? Viewers that can't catch the show everyday and have this playing (and others like it) to go on have absolutely no idea there even is a large cash bonus. Maybe Drew tells the contestants and audience members during the commercial break?
