One Away had an odd setup.  Namely, there was a really good chance that a contestant was going to wind up with only one number right on their first try, leading to an easy win.  Too bad it didn't happen that way today.

ME: I would've lost w/ the motorcycle.

OA: Richard was in deep trouble when he had back-to-back sixes on his first try.

1/2 Off: This game has had some really good luck after a long drought!

SP: I had a feeling the cheapest possible option was right.

LeR: The groceries were aced & only two rolls were needed!

Clock: Cameron was a bit too all over the place.

Showcases: Too bad we didn't have a DSW w/ either Showcase today.

Hey, if we can get a 1/2 Off win on a 1-in-16, we certainly can get it on a 1-in-8... and we did! This game sure is having a nice surge of luck as of late.

And some of that luck bled over into Roll for a win there, too!

THE BAD NEWS:

OA: That was not a good setup IMHO..........Just tough luck for Richard.

Squeeze Play: I really thought that the 3 should've been taken out.

THE NOT-SO-BAD NEWS:

Clock Game: So Cameron said he has seen the game.  :rollold:

THE GOOD NEWS:

ME: Good win by Brian!

1/2 Off: I was never expecting that the first 8 boxes would be eliminated like that. But Sandra got the right box (12) and that Rock and Roll SC!

Let 'Em Roll: Yahtzee by Ross!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

A decent half and half show..........But I thought at least they would play Cleveland Rocks by The Presidents Of The United States Of America for SC1. That was a real miss.

Seeing all the top boxes in 1/2 off vanish while seeing all the bottom boxes remain was kinda fun to see actually and a great win there.

For whatever reason I kinda felt a win coming in Let em Roll and sure enough it did.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Honestly, One Away really bothered me.  Under Roger, it was one game where if 0 or 5 was a choice for the last digit, it was always right.  That's not true anymore (in fact, I'd say it's closer to the opposite), and it comes off as really mean.

That said, 1/2 Off was absurdly mean, too, and as such, it was wonderful seeing Mike and Adam get bitten by a Dobstopper for the second playing in a row. :)
