Great Any Number win!

Hmmm... what to say about Daniel's reaction to spinning $1 on the big wheel? :)   *thinks*     And if George asked me to sing one note, I would have sung a low "Nooooooooooo".

THE BAD NEWS:

Pushover: Forgot that the Hawaii trip was sexed-up a little......At least Christopher won a paperweight iPod.

IITB: Ashley should've stopped on the Snuggle.

L7: And the losing streak lingers on...........

SBS: Another contestant overpricing on the kitchen appliances. Again. But that was a mega-fail on the nuts for making Daniel choose $7863 on them. Good SC bid and win by him, though. And he won $1K on the wheel before that.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Shopping Spree: Nothing but a easy setup.........But good win by Diana!

A#: One of the best playing from it today, thanks to Matthew!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

Another 2/6-er today and Daniel was really the highlight of the show today. No offense or anything, but I think there's a fine line between being excited to be on Price and acting like you've gone just a tad out of control...........And something tells me that he crossed it. But hey, at least he's happy that he's on the show, so what can you do?

And if George asked me to sing one note, I would have sung a low "Nooooooooooo".
Seconded. I mean, come on..........A "singing" Showcase?! SMH

The singing showcase was just bad. Asking any contestant up there to sing when they're already under a lot of pressure is just a TERRIBLE idea (regardless of whether they're actually a good singer or not), and probably the worst thing they've ever asked a contestant to do, counting S37 stuff.  I suppose though with all the good ideas they've had to try to spice up the showcases in the second half of this season, there would have had to be a really stinky one in there and, well, this was it. Hopefully they learned from their mistake after the less-than-amazing results today. Surprised they didn't edit that awkward pause out.

Overall, this was a downer of a show with several odd contestants but those happen. I'll remember it for the showcase.

My two cents:

Push Over: Tough break there.
It's in the Bag: It's non-winning streak lingers on.
Lucky Seven: Another reasonable price, yet another loss.
Shopping Spree: Piece of cake.
Side by Side: Tough break. But at least he won $1,000 on the Big Wheel, and his Showcase, as well (although the sailboat Showcase was the superior Showcase, since it was more expensive (and that sailboat was better than the Fiat)).
Any Number: What a win!

That "singing" showcase was pretty awkward, and that shouldn't happen. It reminded me of the hockey players' "punch in the face" showcase opening.
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

I thought either Tues.'s &/or today's ep. would end in a DOB based on how the tape dates were spread around- once again, I'm not perfect at anything. And I wasn't expecting an to be won fairly easily despite an evil ARP.

I don't know about anyone else, but these two-prize showcases are beyond old.  Three prizes seemed like the minimum for years, that's one thing they should never have changed.

Pushover: I would have won this. I thought Hawaii would be either 8439 or 9526 and I would have picked 8439. 5261 seemed way too low and it was. Too bad. That was a nice trip:

It's in the Bag: I would have played this exactly the same way today's contestant did. I was genuinely surprised those Icee frozen treats were over $2.

Lucky 7: This could have gone either way. Ashamed the Scion XB wasn't won.

Shopping Spree: The pool table was very obviously the most expensive item and the motorcycle was clearly the most expensive of the other 3. I think most contestants would have realized that trainer was a 3 digit trainer and won this game. Great to see a win.

Side by Side: Not too obvious 1 way or the other though I'd have won this. Too bad that fantastic kitchen wasn't won.

Any Number: Segment of the day: Strong finish by today's contestant and great to see the Chevy cruze won. Great finish to the day.

Showcases: The Fiat showcase was the better showcase and today's winning contestant had a good bid.

Lineup: Fantastic: Pushover is a good lead off hitter and Any Number is a great closer. I like every game that was played today so I really liked this lineup.

Overall: Bad 1st half of the show but strong 2nd half. Considering the strong finish and 2 out of 3 cars offered including a car showcase being won and a very good lineup this was 1 of our better 2 for 6 shows.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.
