  • "Mrs. Peacock was a man?!"
Interesting that they both overbid by nearly the same amount ($596 vs. $591).

Always love seeing Safe Crackers, too bad it wasn't won.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

  • Woefully underplayed.
    • Nick's Table of Trades
#MyTwoCents

Bonus Game: Its perfect record this season still holds!
Switch: Easy as pie! And speaking of pie...
Line 'em Up: Not every day you see pies for a year as a prize. Kudos to the Instagram contest winner who won it, and the Fiesta, as well!
Safe Crackers: Tough break.
Stack the Deck: Tricky.
Coming or Going: Nothing to it!

Showcases: Too bad about the DOB. Both contestants over by around $500! But both Showcases are okay, anyway. I'd go for a Chevrolet Sonic (as long it's the sedan), but I'd also settle for a power boat.

Here's hoping tomorrow's show ends the week on a high note!

  • I deserve this.
#THEBADNEWS

Safe Crackers: Had a feeling that it was $680.

Stack The Deck: And the futility lingers on (despite the set-up being a little bit easier)................

#THEGOODNEWS

Bonus Game: Now that was cutting it close.........Good thing Michael got the microwave right.

Switch?: Piece of cake for Toni!

LEU: Vanessa, the Instagram winner, got herself a Insta-win!

CoG: A cinch win for Jesus!

#THEBOTTOMLINE

Despite the DOB, it was still good. And at least, they had a good excuse to show a boat on SC2 since you can't actually "drive" to Alcatraz. Now to end this week with the #YouDecide episode.......

Bonus: This is probably going to be undefeated this season.

S?: Easy.

LeU: As usual, missing all three the first time doesn't fail anyone.

StD: If George had gotten all of the groceries & chosen the inner digits, he likely would've won.

CoG: I would've also won, but I wasn't totally sure.

Showcases: I knew it was all over once both made their bids, but I was surprised both were so close.

Tough ending to a decent show today.

How long will Bonus Game keep on a winning streak even when TPIR has Season 43?

I wish Stack the Deck had a rule change in TPIR Season 43 to give the first number for free and earn 2 numbers, unless it decides to get retired in TPIR Season 43.

I was wondering about Bonus Game before today, but I haven't been missing it since the board was changed and the classic turntable reveal was eliminated. Considering these, I'm content with only a few playings a season just to keep it from being retired.

Nice Line 'Em Up win.

  • Expecto Patronum!
Bonus Game: Great to start off the show with a win. I'd have played a perfect game today. I'd rate the difficulty level at medium. I thought all 4 SPs had setups were neither easy nor impossible though the microwave was the easiest. Watercrafts aren't my thing but the Apple iPad Air and the iMac were very nice contestants row prizes.

Switch? Nice win of a nice washer and dryer and hot tub.

Line em Up. Great to see the Ford Fiesta won. Drew is exactly right that today's contestant was better off getting 0 right than 1 or 2. The 6 had to be right and since numbers don't usually repeat in back to back to back digits the 1 became an obvious choice. Thus it came down to pricing the car. Was it $17K or $15K. I'd have won this as I know Fiestas tend to be cheaper.

Safe Crackers. A reasonable and understandable loss. That was just 1 of those games that could have gone either way. I don't know enough about Prague to judge the prize.

Stack the Deck: Picking the thousands digit as your 1st free digit is never smart. At any rate this game is almost impossible with only 1free digit and it's ashamed the Hyundai Accent wasn't won.

Coming or Going: SO SIMPLE! I'm glad we closed out with a win of a nice Kawasaki Ninja motorclycle.

Showcases: The Chevy Sonic showcase was the better showcase and double overbids always SUCK! :(

Lineup: Below average. Bonus Game and Safe Crackers are always fun and Bonus Game makes a great lead off hitter. But Coming or Going is a very weak closer. I'd have flipped flopped the slot and played Coming or Going 4th since Safe Crackers makes a great closer and Coming or Going slots well 4th. Neither of today's car games are amongst my favorites but Line em Up does slot well 3rd and Stack the Deck does slot well 5th.  It would have been better had Coming or Going and Safe Crackers traded slots.

Overall: Although a double overbid is a bummer of a way to end a show a 4 for 6 show is still a good show.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Bonus Game is almost 100% winnable, even if you have one right.

Switch was too easy.  The washer and dryer would never be more than $4000.

Line Em Up - Nice comeback win!

Safe Crackers = Always reasonable, but always the opposite sadly.

Stack the Deck = Very valuable effort, but a painful loss.

Coming or Going = It could've gone either way....

Good thing I didn't see the Showcases, but is this the 20th DOB this season?  I lost count.

Good show, though.
