I don't know if this has ever happened in the history of Golden-Road.net, but Kev347 has won both the CSS championship and the FPG championship in the same season.  And he did it despite Sandler's sandbags on Grand Game and Master Key.

The final cash and point standings will go up tomorrow.  And as soon as I get back from vacation, I'll put up the season-ending Open Thread.

Well, that was a crapshoot. Two games I had crossed off my shortlist (Grand and Master Key) decide to show up after all, and the two I actually did get right (Flip and TTM) turn up out of their normal spots.

Still, I think I can count this season very much as a win as far as I'm concerned. I started playing FPG back in November, more for shiggles than anything else, with a predictable 0/0 as my first result. Just doing well enough to make the playoffs on something other than games played was an achievement in itself, let alone ending up with the bronze medal.

Thanks! And congrats whammy - making it this far in your first season is definitely impressive. There's a learning curve.

I felt really nervous about picking both Balance and 241 but in the end I did need one of them to win. Go figure this episode was hiding a Key after all this time - dang it Adam. And go figure Balance, 241 and Key were all won. Thanks for a great season Firey! I know it's a ton of work but it's a lot of fun.
