Fonts in recaps on phones
« on: October 08, 2014, 02:35:59 AM »
I've noticed that when viewing the recaps of episodes on my iPhone, the fonts of the numbers comes out really weird. When viewing it on my laptop, they seem to be normal fonts, so I can't figure out why they come out so strange on the phone. I normally don't have any other font issues on other sites, just the recaps on this site. Any guess as to why?

More than likely it's the way the recaps are formatted. The recaps use specific fonts in them, as specified in their HTML tags...if the fonts aren't installed on your machine, it'll display some other placeholder font instead. I'm assuming you're using your phone's Web browser, and not the Tapatalk app.

Care to provide a screenshot so we can see exactly what you're describing? Perhaps somebody with an iPhone (I'm an Android guy myself) could be of more assistance. For what it's worth, the fonts in the recaps don't actually display properly on computers, either, thanks to a quirk in the site's programming.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.
