2016 Obituaries Thread
« on: March 01, 2016, 06:55:04 PM »
In an effort to let the old thread ... erm ... die, let's start anew with this thread.

While it is not a hard and fast rule, please try to keep the OBITs mentioned to people at least somewhat related to the forum at large and the topics discussed therein. Thanks!
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

I know I've discussed this show on this forum before, so it should be "tangentially related" enough.

Former American Gladiator Lee "Hawk" Reherman was found dead this morning at age 49.

I think if they're related to game shows in general and not just Price, it should be enough.

In the broadest sense, this would include PFA's American Gladiators obituary.

I am never one to pick an argument with mods on here but if you want to keep this thread to topics related at large to the forum then you mine as well close the out in left field section.

What does fuller house and baseball (besides 3 strikes) have to do with TPIR? Out in left field is designed in my opinion to talk about stuff not related to the forum at large, and with my busy schedule I actually like the topics covered on here as it keeps me up to date on random things sometimes.

Just my 2 cents :)

Former first lady Nancy Reagan has died at 94.

I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

Squeeze Play and Triple Play are also baseball terms that happen to be names of pricing games on the show. As for the latest death...

R.I.P. Nancy Reagan. She's now reunited with her husband Ronald (the 40th President) after nearly 12 years.
