WINS SHOES
As is typical with Rat Race, the prices
of the shoes and car were not revealed, but lucky for me, we know the price of the shoes from
a past episode - $2,760 (5/23/16 [Daytime] Do the Math). Although it wasn’t won, for the
curious, the Focus S with automatic transmission costs $19,195 per Ford’s
website.

Jamie has won $33,228 in prizes! (Note: Her total winnings are shown as $33,x27 on the podium, with Drew blocking off the 3rd digit, but I believe they made a typo with the last two digits. Why? Subtract the $28,468 showcase, $1,500 IUFB and $500 perfect bid bonus, and we get a price of $xx59 (xx = 25-34) for the shoes. The problem is, I don't quite think 4 pairs of shoes are going to add up to a price ending in 9, especially considering Jimmy Choo's website has all of their pumps' prices ending with either 0 or 5 and no cents.)
Pricing games won: 3 out of 6 (+1
partial win)
Total winnings: $92,175
And with that ends both Season 44 and my
tenure as recapper. Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who has assisted me
throughout my tenure, and all of the readers of my recaps. If someone else
keeps doing the recaps after me, I wish them luck.
If you didn’t know by now, Season 45
starts on September 19th.
