A decent show today....

Swap Meet---I had it down to the grill or the board games.  Travis chose the grill.  Travis WINS!!

Plinko!---Pedro is a good contestant today.  He breezes through the SPs and gets $11,600---not bad.

Any Number---UGH.  Roger's setup was TRICKY!  The ZERO as the third number?!  Tough break for Natalie as she got THAT DAMNED PIGGY BANK.

SCSD 1: Tough break for Natalie---I thought she got the 65 on the second spin---BAD, WHEEL!!  Tough break for Travis on the spinoff.

Freeze Frame---EASY.  $3495 was screaming to be picked.

Stack the Deck---Rhonda was also a fun contestant.  However she got tripped up on the third set of grocery products and she chose the wrong numbers.  I thought $16490.  It was $16,450.  Oh well.

IUFB 6: Poor Stacey, banished to the First Four Breakfast club.

Barker's Bargain Bar---Melba looked like the type that can give Bob some harm there.  The setup was easy too---the exerciser was screaming to be picked.

SCSD 2: Tough break for Barbara.  I thought she had the dollar, but the wheel's up to it's tricks again.  BAD WHEEL!

Showcases---I thought Pedro and Melba gave decent bids.  Turns out that Pedro was 5,000 off and Roger loaded the trailer showcase.  Melba was the winner today.

Swap Meet:  I too picked the grill, as it looked quite obvious.

Plinko:  Well, I predicted Pedro would win $11,500.  I almost got the total winnings on the nose (missed by $100), and what's better is that I won my first Plinko Doubler...or did I?

Any Number:  Evil setup, and the worst thing about it was that the zero was the THIRD number in the car's price; I always figured that the fourth or fifth number would be zero.  A forced loss indeed... :-(

Freeze Frame:  Easy pickin's, especially for a hot tub.

Stack the Deck:  Another forced loss here.  The Tidy Cats proved to be Rhonda's downfall...

(Bully's/Barker's) Bargain Bar:  They've been using cheaper prizes for this game lately, but that was still a nice win.

Showcases:  Now I know why they're called friggin' random trailers.  I figured that $25,000 would be a great bid for the trailer, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.  Overbidding on that Hi-Lo trailer cost me my Plinko Doubler...  :-x  :-x
I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for your love, affection and loyalty to me, drew, the models and.... The Price is Right....thank you for being such a "Loyal Friend & True". -Rich Fields (in an e-mail sent to me on 3/17/2010)

Swap Meet: That was an impressive win! The board games looked like the right one to go with, but the man's pick all worked out!

Plinko: Glad to see this back. And Pedro did very well here!

Any Number: If Natalie had pulled the trigger on 0 late in the game, she might have been closer to winning the car than she was.

SSD1: A camerman celebrates his birthday! Nice!

Freeze Frame: Easy.

Stack the Deck: It's a shame Rhonda lost this because of missing the last pair of products, because she played this very well up until then, going for the middle digits. If she had gotten the last pair, she might have gone on to select the fourth digit, and likely would have won. She played this a lot better than most people have as of late.

BBB: Toss-up, at best.

SSD2: Wow, a man has a tattoo of Bob on his leg!

Showcases: Nice surprise that we had a car in the second showcase! Both showcases had the possibility of being overbid on. Thankfully, we didn't.

Overall: Good show today. If only we had given away at least one car today.

Wow, Bob was big on the interaction today. Two cameramen, and a guy with Bob tattooed on his leg... the latter one is one of the stranger things I've seen on the show.

Bidding Round #1- #198, Stacey! :-D

Showcase Showdown #2- There are LFATs, and then, there are real LFATs. That is definitely YouTube-worthy.

Showcases- Did somebody switch those ARPs?

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY- Who cares if he didn't get called? Lawrence!

SHOW SUMMARY AND GRADE- Average show to start the week... Grade: 2

swap meet - That guitar looked kind of expensive to me. I picked the barbecue too.

Plinko - A nice $10K plus win

Any Number - I wouldve never guessed a 0 as the third number of the car.

Freeeze Frame - Yay for Barbara! (fellow Canadian) $3495 was the obvious choice to me.

Stack the Deck - Tough luck for Rhonda. It was a good guess on her part.

BBB - Those were really low differences.

Showcases - Average

My bids: $18,000/$4something | $25,500/$1something

grade: 7/10

Swap Meet: I would say the games and be wrong. Good for Travis to start things off very well.

Plinko: Pedro did very well. Getting all 4 of the SPs right and winning $11,600 in the process.

Any Number: Why Natalie? Why did you changed your mind on the 0? She would've had a good chance in winning the car had she stuck with that number.

Freeze Frame: Very funny the way Barbara snucked behind Bob not even looking at the price. She can relax now. She won.

Stack The Deck: I would get the grocery pairing wrong. Knew that car would end with 5-0.

Barker's Bargain Bar: I'm wrong again. I said the chair. Not my day in picking the right prize.

SS #2: It really just amaze me seeing a likeness of Bob displaying on someone's leg. It's amazing.

Showcases: When I saw that trailer displayed I said "Oh no!" However it was won.

I wonder why Natalie changed one of her guesses in Any Number from 0 to 2.

Freeze Frame was really easy.  $3,495 was the only choice that even looked like a real price.

I have a feeling Stack the Deck turned out exactly the way Roger wanted it to.

You know, as much as I like Bob Barker, I have never had the desire to get his face tattooed on my leg.

There were some really good contestants today, especially in the second half.  In fact, I think I liked everyone who got onstage on this episode.

Swap Meet-I too picked the barbeque; that was the only thing that looked like the price of the guitar.

Plinko-An exciting $11,600 win.

Any Number-Aww, I was afraid not picking the 0 was going to cost her, and it did.

Freeze Frame-$3495 was the only reasonable choice.

Stack the Deck-Not getting the 4th number made this playing really tough.

Barker's Bargain Bar-Tiny differences today.

SCSD #2-That was a very interesting segment.  I wouldn't be that dedicated, though.

PG #1:  WHOO!  "The Cats" in Swap Meet!  :-P  It was a tough choice between the barbecue and the games.  I thought the guitar was about $700, so when the barbecue was revealed to be $1,199, I thought we had a loss.  Shows what I know about guitars.

PG #2:  WHOO!  Race Game curtain shot!  And, for the second time this season, a contestant hits all 5 amounts on the Plinko board.

One-Bid #3:  Fireball Hottie #31--Natalie!  :-P

PG #3:  We almost could've had a technical win there.  Natalie had once called a zero, which would've put her one away from the car.  But given that she never would've called the four, that was a moot point.

One-Bid #4:

PG #4:  Beachcomber "95" alert!

PG #5:  Without the fourth number revealed, you weren't gonna win that truck.  Nice full shot of both set pieces together today.

Before SCSD #2:  A Bob Barker tattoo!  Nice!  Beats a heart with "MOM" any day of the week.

My showcase bids:
FRTS--$21,169
Random room/car--$22,350

Screw that.  Where the heck is Double Prices?!  :-P
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

I don't know if anybody else noticed this but, there was no prize label for the guitar's podium in Swap Meet today.  I wonder what's the reasoning behind that.

Swap: The Games is what I would've chose:oops:, but I'm glad Travis went against my instincts.

Plinko: $11,500 is better for Pedro than peanuts. Glad we got a little glimpse of the awesome curtain while Bob spoke to Marty Wagner.

Any #: The bloody Piggy Bank strikes again!!!

IUFB #4: WHAT THE HECK?!!! :-o

Freeze: So obvious. Barbara gave us a "funny as heck" moment standing behind Bob. :-D

STD: I really thought she had it. Guess "The Dob" got his wish.

BBB: Very nice with the itty-bitty differences. :-P

SCSD #2: Anyone could show their love and appreciation to Bob in many ways. This was no comparison.

Showcases: Another "RTS" and it's won, too.

A 3.25 week-starter.

The Price is Right Game #6678
Before this show aired, Shane's career total stood at $19,978,247, so this is it.  The day of $20,000,000 is here!  She only needs to model $21,753, so here we go:

Showcase #1: Patti the Park Ranger
Picnic Time Picnic Baskets - $460
Mitsubishi 52" DLP HDTV - $2,799
Hi Lo Tow Lite Telescoping Travel Trailer - $18,882 (She made it!)

Showcase #2
Magnussen Ashby Bedroom - $5,020
Tempurpedic - The old price was $1,592 and the new price is $1,759

Trip Price Update:  Now travellers, this is the Ashby bedroom's second appearance, and its first appearance had a trip to Copenhagen in its showcase, so the trip to Copenhagen on February 13 was $6,790.  Now to the other two prizes:
The Maids Maid Service - $2,550
Chrysler PT Cruiser - $17,650

Modeling Report Card for March 26, 2007
Score to beat (Shane Stirling only):  $21,753

As of right now, Shane's career total stands at:
$20,001,238 !!!

This is a huge milestone in Shane Stirling's daytime Price is Right modeling career:  Twenty million big United States dollars!  We the people at Golden-Road.net congratulate Shane on accomplishing such a milestone!  It's a good thing I wore my Price is Right shirt today for that milestone.

Whoa!  That's $156,017 in your pocket, and that's 28 prizes!
