$1 dollar showcase difference
« on: December 26, 2016, 09:12:00 PM »
Somebody posted the March 6, 1980 TPIR episode on YouTube over the weekend. Why do I care? During the showcase round Barker mentioned that on yesterday's (supposedly March 5th) episode some woman came within ONE DOLLAR of the actual retail price on her showcase, and won both of them! I knew I remembered seeing somebody come within one dollar on a showcase when I was a kid! I'm just wondering if that March 5th episode contained a fur coat (which I'm sure would be the reason why GSN omitted that episode). Wouldn't it be something if that episode in question could finally be found?

So are you asking for a copy of the episode or what?
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Not necessarily. However, I'm hoping that at least a clip of this double showcase win at least pops up on YouTube, because I now know for sure that such a moment really does exist!
