10 Chances was just ugly today. Alexis didn't play well, but the setups were a bit tricky, too - those 5's really did not help.

Switcheroo was a bit mean, as well. Have we seen that $14 curling iron before?

It still seems weird to me that we have a fully sponsored car now. That Tucson is loaded!

I would tend to disagree...

2 chances, max, for the waffle iron ($50, $30)
4 chances, max, for the TV (850, 890, 950, 980)
4 chances, max, for the car ($16270, $16720, $17260, $17620)

IMO, most of the setups this week (I'm aware they were taped far apart) have been very generous.

I was coming at it from the angle that the contestant didn't know the zero rule, and she (and the audience) clearly didn't.

I also disagree that there were only four choices for the TV...$580 and $590 were perfectly logical guesses. We had a $560 TV that was used frequently just a few years ago, and last season we saw a $750 Haier Roku model fairly often.

Is the Skiing package offered on Check-Out the most expensive prize ever offered when playing Check-Out (besides cars)? That was such a great playing! Very nice!

One exclamation point per sentence will suffice, thank you.

Nope , the most Expensive Non-Car Prize ever offered in Check-Out was a $16,890 Canopy Boat.

Love this lineup.  Two long car games plus Check-Out, balanced with some of the lesser-played quick games.
They can be close at the top, too.

I just watched this episode, so I'm far behind, but since 10 Chances is one of my favorite games I wanted to comment. I could tell Drew was disappointed in both the contestant and especially the audience for not knowing the zero rule. His behavior when the "589" chant started was quite telling, and entertaining for me ("I feel ya Drew". :) )

It would be great to see a "smart shopper" and "10 Chances expert" play this game. I'd like to see Drew's reaction to it.

Also, I very well might have lost the auto in Switcheroo because of the $14 curling iron.
