So, I take it, are the $100 slots in Plinko here to stay? Disappointing.

Clearly the show wanted a lot to be won for Jack Black , with a lot of easy setups ( excluding TTM  , which is more unpredictable, which was won )
Both Danger Price and Vend-o-Price should had been won.
I felt like Jack was laid back today. He had energy , but he didn't overdo it.

I like that Jack Black didn't go overboard today, but I also thought he'd be interacting a little more and being a little bit more zany (for lack of a better word). His Showcase presentation was very good though.

Very easy Lucky $even, they definitely wanted a win. I kept expecting a high number to pop up somewhere. I agree Tino, Danger Price and Vend-O-Price should've been won also. The motorcycle was the only definite for the price and the sausage was definitely going to be more than the buns and sauce.

I was expecting Drew to comment on Lindsey not winning because she bid $1. It felt pretty rushed, so I guess there wasn't time.

I'm surprised a trip to New York to see the School of Rock Broadway show wasn't offered. He's not in it but he was in the movie version of course.

Also, here's an article about Jack Black's and his mother's involvement with the Society of Women Engineers- http://alltogether.swe.org/2017/02/brothers-gift-pays-tribute-mothers-involvement-society/

Quick Take
Lucky Seven - Win
Danger Price - Loss
Vnd O Price - Loss
Plinko - $2,600
Pne Right Price - Win
That's Too Much! - Win

Vend-O-Price and One Right Price are misspelled.

I haven't got much to add. The first half was easier than normal, because of the celebrities, and the second half had two wins and Plinko. I should mention that Jack Black was cheering for a contestant to get a 30 when that contestant had a 60 already, and a 95 was needed to win, but everything else seems to be covered.

"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

I noticed that the sirens didn't go off when they opened the doors for danger price, I wonder if that will now be a normal thing.

i would hope so... the visible lights added on are enough... the sirens are overkill.

Mistakes happen.

1 Right Price, by the way.

I noticed they were absent on the previous playing, too.  Glad they're gone.

Personally, I never understood the set for Danger Price myself.  Stop signs don't mean danger.  Yellow street signs mean caution.  I guess the stop sign means if you reveal the danger price it stops you in your tracks?

They use the sirens intermittently. I'm pretty sure that they'll be back in a future playing.

I really like the sirens.... I would actually like to see them go off for a win instead of opening.

Just viewed this episode (sorry).  I guess if you want to win big on TPIR come to the first show of a gimmick week.  They might as well have had the car in L7 as $26,555.  Next playing will probably be $21,929.  Also, Drew and Jack are so alike.  You could tell Drew was so excited to have him on the show.  Give Jack a bath, shave and haircut and you have Drew Carey.

Give Jack a bath

Not sure what you mean by this.

I just meant clean him up a bit - I was not implying that he did not bathe/shower for his appearance on TPIR!
