Jaguars move on to the AFC Championship game after a 45-42 win over the Steelers (Steelers came close, but ran out of time late). Game will be next Sunday at 3:05 pm ET against the Patriots.

The refs must have something against the Saints' defense, too. How many pass interference calls can they make in one game?

In one word: Wow!

That play saved a near choking disaster and keeps the opportunity to host the Super Bowl in their home base, but they have to do better next week against the Eagles at 6:40 pm ET if they want to get there.

Some are already calling it “The Minnesota Miracle.” Best ending of a game this postseason.

The question is, will the Vikings play the Super Bowl in front of their own fans? A hostile environment in Philly is now the only thing that stands in the way, so we'll see if they can make history one more time.

Mike Mularkey has left as Titans head coach. It was termed as a mutual decision to leave.

For the conference championships, Minnesota is a 3-point favorite over Philadelphia while New England is a whopping 9-point favorite over Jacksonville.

I saw somebody call it The Whiff Six, which I think is a little more clever.

Even as a Packers' fan, I'd love to see the Vikings win a Superbowl at home, seeing as they've lost 4 back in the 70s and haven't played in one since the 1976 season.  The closest a Superbowl winner has played to their home stadium was in Superbowl XIX when the 49ers played just across town from Candlestick at Stanford University.  That game was very much like a home game for the 49ers whose fans had only 40 miles to travel compared to the fans of the Miami Dolphins.

Minnesota is overdue for a world title, certainly (you could fairly argue some of their late 80s-early 90s teams deserved the direct shot).  Either NFC finalist would be quite deserving to win it all (and the loser can take comfort they'll have a chance for instant revenge next season when they're slated to meet again).

Tom Brady is listed as questionable (hand) in Sunday’s tilt against Jacksonville.

If Tom Brady can play through the flu, he can play with an injured thumb.
