There was a national pre-emption from the end of Act 3 to IUFB #5. I have updated the schedule. Also. Josie posted 927577035597213696[/tweet]]this tweet just after her wipeout on Gas Money.

Pretty good show, with that $2 win in Pocket ¢hange being the highlight of the show.

You might think I'm somewhat crazy, but personally I think a wipeout is not as serious as losing money in Gas Money. Why? Because, with a wipeout, it's a wash-- you don't win or lose any money, but the game ends right there.

There was a strange bit of continuity between this episode and the last one -- the lights around the red Contestants' Row display went out last Friday during the sixth Item up for Bids, and they stayed out all through today.

We've seen two playings of Pocket ¢hange so far this season, and $2 has been picked in both of them.  That's sort of amazing.

Did anyone notice the weird sound dropout in the second Showcase Showdown?  It was like some of the studio mics cut out at the end of Susan's second spin -- you couldn't hear the last four beeps from the Big Wheel, and the audience was noticeably drowned out (or, perhaps more accurately, suddenly got noticeably louder when the sound came back on).

Drew was absolutely right -- I thought for sure the Showcase was a double overbid.  I still can't believe either contestant actually won.

There was some sort of editing going on there, as the dropout happened right after an obviously edited-in cutaway.  Maybe someone could be heard saying something inappropriate in the audience so they cut it out?

Don't you mean Pocket Change? Picking $2.00 in Gas Money doesn't make sense
