I never saw M*A*S*H, so only knew him as Kumajii on Spirited Away. Nonetheless, it is very sad.

Indeed. I used to watch M*A*S*H* our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. He will be missed in the years to come.

Gary Cruz, former sports guy on KCAL Channel 9 in L.A., and most recently on KPHO CBS5 in Phoenix, passes on at 68 of bladder cancer:

One of them I recall very well (even though I've never been in L.A.); John Young being the announcer:

I have to RIP one of the best known modern scientists. It is such a miracle that he lived for as long as he did. He was a fighter in every regard.
