Kids of the 60s (like me) knew him as the voice of Number One on Cool McCool as well as Sonny and Gramps from the Cocoa Puffs commercials.

Actor R. Lee Ermey, best known for the film Full Metal Jacket, passed away today at age 74.  Fans of The Simpsons will also know him as the voice of Colonel Hapablap in the season 7 episode "Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming", and he was also the voice of Sarge in Toy Story
