It's $1.00 on the first spinner of the first Showcase Showdown. Not good to start this week. But it happens.

That 2 For The Price Of 1 was just embarrassing.
Plinko is the worst game the show ever made.

Just proof that not many know the zero rule as it applies here.

That 2 For The Price Of 1 was just embarrassing.

A textbook example of how NOT to play 2 for the Price of 1:

1) He picked the first number as his freebie.

2) He DIDN'T pick the second number, which would have been the hardest to guess.

3) He didn't pick the zero for the last digit.

4) $750 looked much more logical than $783!

At least this wasn't a skunked show, thanks to Flip Flop.

It's outrageous that a contestant would choose 3 instead of 0 as the last number of a price! Especially because there's no way he could have seen a similar situation play out that way the week before he visited the show!

(I just looked up the Two for One stats. I had no idea how frequently the price has ended in 0 for the past four years.)

Seriously, you'd think a contestant like him would know the zero rule in 2 for the Price of 1. He must not want to go to Chile (Patagonia).

Hi-Lo is not a car game. When is Mike Richards going to realize this? They must be strapped for budget if they're playing this difficult game for cars.
Flip Flop was an easy win.. for that home theatre set, which I thought was a bit of a joke.. it makes me miss the old days of bedroom sets, dining rooms, furniture, etc.. everything has to make contestants "feel rich".

One Wrong Price I knew she'd lost as soon as she picked the fridge--that fridge is on a lot! It's pretty expensive.. obvious it was the designer garbage.
Hot Seat--ugh. I don't like this game, and cringe every time it's played. And a pretty bad loss..
Line 'Em Up sucked.

Showcases--all Janet needed to do is bid $1.. Mark was way over, especially on a chintzy Kia Soul..

A lousy start to the week--let's hope for better tomorrow.
