Tough luck in Dice Game. I can see he went with the odds, but not often is there a car under 15K anymore.

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

I think Bob Barker might have had a field day with Debra. She first wrote $1700 & then it looked like she was going to write 2 thousand something, then wrote something else before settling on $2100. I think that may have been an historic moment too, as I don't think I've ever seen a Check Game player make that many changes when writing out the check for a particular amount.

Tough luck in Dice Game. I can see he went with the odds, but not often is there a car under 15K anymore.

I feared that he was in trouble when he rolled a 5 on that second number, and guessed lower. He even guessed right by going against the odds with a 4 on the fourth number!

Also, the Vicks Vaporub was $6.79 not $6.99!

“I don’t know ‘bout this”, said Christopher after giving the audience a quite skeptical look. Changing the price to $9724, he ended up winning the prizes offered in Flip Flop. Another quote: “I watch this show too much”.

Good for him. And I always like seeing someone win after going against what the majority seems to say. :)

Tsk, tsk, tsk, Debra...you should've stuck with $1,700.
Think about how long that playing would have taken (perhaps) in the Barker era, when the check amount also had to be written out in words!

Bob might have said, "Debra, if you tried to do that in a bank, they'd kick you out!"

Why do I have a feeling there's going to be some sort of Final Four showcase tomorrow? That's the only reason I can think of why they would have an Academy of Country Music Awards showcase today instead of tomorrow.

Awful way to lose in Dice Game, as mentioned.  Tpir04 is right about the lack of cars under $15,000, which is why it's not a painful loss.  Can't blame Frank at all for guessing lower, as if it was in the $14,000 range and guessed higher it would have been a bad way to lose.  Years back, it would have sucked even more if the second number had been a 1 after a roll of two.

I would have guessed lower myself unless I was sure enough of the price.  And since 4 number was pretty much a flip (or as much a flip as possible), I might have been wrong with that anyway!

Like a hit song that gets stuck in your head, I actually have the voice of Bob saying that right now; that is classic Bob.

If I'm a betting man, I think they will.  CBS has the Final Four this year so it would make sense.  Though I hope they avoid the format that was done around this period two years ago!

Tough choice between the coffee and Vicks as the other product over the target price along with the lotion in Grand Game.

Triple Play showing up was certainly a surprise. I was pretty sure $19,250 would be correct for the Corolla, too bad for Kelsey.

One of the most entertaining playings of Check Game in a while. Poor Debra ended up losing by just a little bit and would've won with $1,700. More expensive than normal prize for the game.

Tough break for Frank in Dice Game losing by deciding to go with the odds on the second digit.

Grand Game was really hard.  It was between the coffee and the Vicks.  I had a sneaking suspicion on that Vicks and I was right.  Tough break Gianna.

Check Game was also very hard.  I picked $2,000 and lost.  God Bless Drew.  He was patient with Debra.  Bob on the other hand...not so much.

Going lower than $15,000 for a Nissan Versa is not that unreasonable.

(While looking up those links, it turns out that the car in this playing wasn't the S but rather the S Plus, the build of which the show has been using has a minimum price of $15,595. Nissan's website says the S Plus has a base price of $14,500, so going lower than $15,000 still wasn't unreasonable.)

Just a little gloating on my part. I'm a resident of Castlegar, British Columbia. The appearance of my little hometown on Price was a pleasant surprise. Although the fact that the flight was TO Castlegar was a little hilarious. Depending on the time of year, only about 40 percent of flights make it in or out of Castlegar on time. We call it "Cancelgar" for a reason.
