Looks like a 49ers-Patriots Super Bowl...but don't hold your breath just yet.

A 30-yard field goal made by Jacksonville's Josh Lambo towards the end of the second quarter barely makes a shutout victory for the Houston Texans to happen as the Texans beat the Jaguars 26-3 at Wembley Stadium in London.

There goes the undefeated season for the Patriots as the Ravens take this one 37-20. That leaves the 49ers as the only unbeaten team of the season so far.

So that means, that, if the 49ers lose a game, the 1972 Dolphins will be able to pop that champagne.

The Chiefs hold down the fort without Mahomes with a 26-23 win over the Vikings largely on the strength of Harrison Butker's  4 field goals, including the game winner at the buzzer.

Russell Wilson throws 5 touchdown passes, including the game winner in overtime, as the Seahawks outshoot the Buccaneers 40-34.

The Texans, led by my current MVP Deshaun Watson, give the Jaguars a 26-3 butt kicking as Minshew Magic appears to have run out. Minshew threw 2 interceptions and lost 2 fumbles for 4 total turnovers.

Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

A black cat ran onto the field during the Giants/Cowboys game. An omen of sorts?

For the Giants yep as the o-line and the refs continue to give them a hard time.

The cat scored more touchdowns than the Giants did. ;)

Unfortunately, it was four to eight days too late.

After the cat appeared, Joe Tessatore said"If the Cowboys season doesn't go as expected, blame that guy." And then the Cowboys went on a 34-9 run the rest of the game. LOL!

You do have to wonder how a cat could get into the stadium in the 1st place.

The black cat is one of the "resident stray cats" at MetLife Stadium, and the stadium plans to capture the cat and take it to a vet for an examination is what Sports Illustrated studio host and New York Giants reporter Madelyn Burke said on Twitter.

Drew Brees has been sacked six times against Atlanta, who had six sacks going into the bye week. Atlanta leads, 23-9 but there's still time.

My Cardinals fall to 3-6-1 with a 30-27 loss to the Buccaneers. It looked like the Cardinals might have a shot when Kyler Murray threw a 4th 1/4 touchdown pass to Christan Kirk. But a bad interception by Mutray gave the Buccaneers another shot and they took advantage of it. The Cardinals then couldn't get anything going on the final drive and that was that.

Some poor special teams play really hurt the Chiefs in their 35-32 loss to the Titans. All credit to Ryan Tannehill and the Titans offense for pulling that game out, but with the Chiefs leading 32-27, an inattentive holder not ready for the snap ended up having getting an intentional grounding penalty on 4th down and later the Chiefs game tying field goal attempt on the last play was blocked.

Oh, and Lamar Jackson may have taken the lead in the MVP race. Lamar Jackson was totally awesome baby. Jackson accounted for 4 touchdowns today ( 3 passing and 1 rushing) and looked mighty impressive doing so.

Atlanta wins, 26-9, snapping their losing streak and the Saints' winning streak. The Saints fail to score a touchdown in a home game with Brees at QB for the first time.

And correction: Atlanta had seven sacks before the bye week.

At the last possible moment, there are no undefeated teams left thanks to a last-second field goal win by the Seahawks, taking it 27-24 over the 49ers in overtime. A lot were thinking this would be the first MNF tie since 1983 but Seattle had other plans...
