Two examples of games well played, with varying results:

* Corbin played Bonkers about as well as you could ... too bad time ran out before he got to what probably would have been what would have been the right guess. Everything else he did right: He didn't waste time, he didn't repeat guesses, he kept his composure, he didn't consult the audience -- all things various contestants have done through the years. Too bad he didn't get the payoff.

* Props, too, to Sharon and Freeze Frame. The answer she thought was correct slipped by and she was patient in waiting for the wheel to rotate around again to the desired price. This time, it paid off and she got a well-earned victory. Again, so many contestants get impatient after they miss the price they think is correct – whether or not it ends up being the actual correct price – that they go with one that ends up being wrong. Sharon was right to maintain her focus.

Did Martha really attempt to bid $1 million on the Fourth IUFB?

She kept saying 9 over and over like she was trying to bid $999 but forgot where to stop, and Drew made a joke about it.  Funny moment and glad it didn't get cut because of the overbid.

Pretty good show overall IMO.

I'll bet Lloyd regrets putting the 1 on the grill now.

Big props to Inetha for taking a risk on her second pick and winning the car.

Bonkers: Kudos to Corbin for playing fast, but he never went with the most obvious possibility. The first digit was clearly higher than 5; he placed that correctly and never touched it. The other digits all went with the odds--the correct placement for the 3 and the 4 were higher and the correct placement for the 7 was lower. He never had all three of those in those positions at the same time; he would've won if he had.

Pass the Buck: Pick the endpoints (which for PtB means choosing #s 1 and 6) comes through again!

Freeze Frame: Major kudos to Sharon for picking her price and waiting for it to come around again.

Showcase: I hope the show provided that selfie to Lloyd and Lauran. Win or lose, that would be quite the awesome memory.

Lauran looked to me like she had too much caffeine before the taping.

Isn't that the type of person they seem to prefer to cast have on the show these days though?

I must have missed something because I didn't find Lauran that wacky.

It is unfortunate that it seems to be hard to get most of the players to try that (sort of) obvious combination (going with the odds on each number), as it has been correct fairly often.

Bonkers was heartbreaking.  I think Corbin was trying to change the paddles in a pattern but forgot what he hadn't guessed yet.

Drew said they had "a new dollar" in Pass the Buck.  That's not actually a different prop, is it?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone fail to notice Freeze Frame's lever before.

Incidentally, Freeze Frame reminded me why they added a "reverse" function to the original Pick a Pair set.

"I mean, gotta go with the odds," says Ryan as he goes against the odds and stays on 60.  I can't say I was disappointed to see him get beaten after that.

I'll bet Lloyd regrets putting the 1 on the grill now.

I would imagine most people who lose their pricing games regret their incorrect pricing decisions.

I'm wondering if he meant the odds of going over vs. not in his 2nd spin. It's possible anyway.
