In my area, Connery has additional special status for his starring role in The Molly Maguires, which was based on the unrest in the local anthracite coal fields in the 1870s and was filmed in Eckley, which is only about 20 miles from me.

RIP, Sean Connery.  He wasn't doing well, but sad to see him go.  Still had a good run & lived more than a complete life.  While I respect arguments about Roger Moore being a better Bond, if you looked up 007 in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of Connery, no written definition needed.

The show should try to replace the current Eazy As 1-2-3 think music with an instrumental remix of that song as a special tribute. Speaking of which, that song sounds fairly similar to The Supremes "Ask Any Girl" and is basically similar to the Motown sound, just with some trumpets added in.

Back on August 26th, we lost Joseph Ruby, co-creator of cartoon character Scooby-Doo.

Today, we lost the other person involved with that creation.

Animator Ken Spears passed away at age 82 of complications of Lewy body dementia, according to Variety.
