The Price is Right: The Barker Era on Pluto TV Air Date Guide

If all goes well, that episode will be airing soon enough.  Not next month but possibly before Memorial Day.  If Pluto TV adds shows every other month to where the totals are multiples of 100 (or divisible by 100) that should include that February episode.

I believe this episode had one of the most bizarre Secret X playings (laughable for me) in the game's history.  A sequence that I personally/randomly thought of a while back before the return of Barker episodes and how Bob would react to it.  Nothing completely outstanding & it wasn't the highlight of that episode.


Looks like Pluto Television will no longer be skipping the episodes that aired over the weekend as part of the "Great Car Wins" Marathon.  The next one that would have been skipped (4701) is scheduled to air 11 AM EST.  In that case, we'll loop back to 4581 on 01/29/2021 at 6 AM EST, and then after one more run of the First 100 Pluto TV Barker Era episodes, that would coincide with the start of 30 new episodes from that era at 10 AM.

That's assuming that there will not be anymore episodes skipped between now and Tuesday morning

I apologize for two consecutive posts, but I can't edit my previous post. A few shows to look out for:

And sadly (unless 4 eps are skipped which is unlikely) we're just going to barely miss out on Master Key's debut. It occurs later in the week of 3-21-83, so we'll get that ep early in the next batch.

As of 8:50 AM EST, 4792 (the so-called drunken episode) is scheduled to air as mentioned.  There was some concern that it might have been skipped before it was confirmed that Pluto wouldn't skip an episode unless Fremantle lacks an episode that they can on that channel.

After 30 episodes come and go, by 4 ET 02/03, I imagine they'll rerun them again starting with 4792.  I'm guessing the next several episodes will be released next week, or they'll just add the other 70 like they did in December when they stopped adding 6 episodes a day.  Personally, I'd be surprised if they went back to 4581 so soon tomorrow, but after 200 episodes air, they probably would start over.  That shouldn't be the case until later in the month.


4801 is a very good episode, IMO.  Slated to air at 2 at the latest.  That might be an episode that gets skipped at some point during these new batch of episodes as I think it will definitely air at least once a week from Sunday.  However, if you have a chance to catch it, then you'll be in for a great time.  Overall solid gameplay & interaction to go with such a great atmosphere

As far as I can tell, the drunken episode aired. They're on 4801 right now which is exactly where they should be per my quick write up above.

This started a couple of weeks ago, shortly before they mentioned the addition of new episodes.  I can only tell what episodes are scheduled to air no more than 90 minutes in advance

I saw the mention of it on their own Twitter Account after people kept constantly bugging them about how they were airing their episodes and what they were airing when.  The questions and the replies from whomever was running their Twitter account occurred a lot, but back in December.

The Facebook responses were from other users echoing what was previously said from the webmasters.  They never referenced the 4 skipped episodes.  However, they often commented on how they planned to air everything they had in order.  In addition, they wouldn’t commit to how they were going to proceed after the first 100 episodes had aired on the channel. 

I wish I could link to it.  It was buried within their replies (if not deleted).  I usually link to my sources of information.  I’m sorry to have posted what I posted without that proof of it.  However, I do recall the discussion from it.  It would be great to know about they operated in terms of their schedule & why certain episodes get skipped.  Their Facebook and Twitter page has turned into a page full of various videos.  They used to touch base with their followers on their upcoming schedule & important info.  Not so much anymore

Unfortunately, they're jumping back to the first Pluto episode at 4 PM ET. So it'll take another 4 days and 4 hours before they re-air the 30 fresh ones...Sunday at 8 PM ET. I guess if that's their plan they may add more fresh episodes on each time we get to the end of the total current episode cycle this month, until they're up to 200 total, which will happen 3 or 4 times more this month after today at this rate.
