I went to high school with a TPIR staffer

I was thrilled to find out a couple weeks ago that one of my high school classmates is working on TPIR.  I'm from Michigan and attended high school with TPIR Production Assistant Scott Robinson.  My local paper did an article on Scott a couple weeks ago.  He took my dream job!!  I'm kidding.  I'm very happy for Scott.  He's perfect for the job and I'm sure he'll make a great gameshow host someday.  He has a great voice.  He was always the "host" at school assemblies.

Correction -- I took my dream job.

Good to "see" you. Thanks for the kind words, but I don't think I'm in the running for any game show hosting jobs. Though I have announced the occasional robotic combat event (by "occasional," I mean "one" -- this past weekend).

I guess it would.  I was thinking of the career path of Roger Dobkowitz.  Roger started out as production assistant.  Scott's on the same path.
