No recap from me today. I hit a woman with my car when she was jaywalking and I was blinded by the sun.

Sheesh, what rotten luck. First the tow truck, and now this? That doesn't sound like a place where I'd want to drive (if I had a car, that is).

Seriously, people need to pay more attention to cars, especially if it's on a rural highway, and moreso if it's a blind curve.

I like the game, and I don't want to sound harsh, but I hated the way George read the vintage prize copy in Back to '72.

"She's gone!" I enjoyed seeing Drew's reaction to the contestant's walking off after the Pocket Change loss. (Bob wouldn't laugh like Drew did, but it brought me back to seeing contestants doing that to him.) She was so close though. That last mistake really cost her; bad luck with the 50-50 last digit choice.

Very nice $26,000 win in SCSD #1.

What a great win in Pass The Buck, one of my favorite games! :-)  $26K+ Prius and $3000 cash with exactly two picks!

Adam, I wish you both the best outcome to that unfortunate situation.

So will Back to ‘72 be considered a Small Prize Game? Though it debuted in a lineup that also included Plinko, but I wondered what it’s ‘category’ would be, being a game that may possibly use now-defunct brands and items that are no longer available in the modern era.

Adam, I'm sorry to hear about that accident :-o. I hope everyone's OK.

I like the game, and I don't want to sound harsh, but I hated the way George read the vintage prize copy in Back to '72

Absolutely agreed. It's almost like he was trying some sort of accent and it didn't work at all.

Pocket Change hurt. The contestant got to $1.55 without even getting the 75 cent card but still lost. Ouch.

George is trying to either sound like Johnny or the stereotypical old-school announcer. In either case, it doesn't work. And I doubt many viewers would understand what he's trying to do.

As a math guy, I noticed that Switch? was easily won if you know the divisibility rule for 3. The sum of the digits must be divisible by 3. That only worked with one of the prices. I'll keep holding out hope that one of my former students will be on the show someday and use what I've taught them to win big.

God-damn, Adam.  I hope you're okay, both physically and mentally -- I can't imagine what must go through your head after hitting someone with your car.

On a considerably happier note, I can't believe we lucked into a Back to '72 player winning the Showcase two playings in.  Her total seems to include the 1972 prices of the small prizes, so I figure they most likely gave her cash for every one she got past.
