The season is still young, but probably a prime candidate for the best show of Season 50.  I love seeing excited, outgoing contestants, including showcase winner Steven, and retro contestant Katherine.  Nearly a two-time winner, well-played Line Em Up.  Probably easy when the price isn’t as evil as the last playing.

Drew’s on fire in terms of his Hole In One putts.

Not a perfect show, but at $12,000 win in Plinko (with 5 chips) included in a show where 5 out of 6 games were won is tremendous enough.  I’m not one of those that complain or get mad about Plinko “ruining a perfect show” given how much one could win.  Though I joke about it from time to time!

First time in at least a while in which the SCSD spinning order ended up being the order of each contestant’s exit out of contestant’s row.  In other words, the contestant that played the first pricing game spun first; the contestant that played the second pricing game spun second, and the third contestant that played the third pricing game spun third.  That was the case in both the first half & the second half.  It’s amazing to me, but just a coincidence.

Clean sweep in terms of all the cars offered (three), with Steven winning two of the three.  Though I guess we could count Katherine as a two-time car winner.  Nevertheless, much better show than yesterday (which wasn’t even that bad TBH)

Kind of a coincidence that the last pricing game of each act of the show was for the most expensive prize of each half that was won.  Had Plinko been won for more than the price of the car in Act II, obviously the car winner (generally Top Winner/Last Place Advantage) would have to spin second since he/she would have won the second most amount of winnings.

Still, great show.

Well, it's a perfect show in my book when you win at least $10,000 in Plinko, cause let's face it people, the day someone wins the full $50,000 in the game is when Heck freezes over. Regardless, I most certainly would not have won 1 right price because I assumed that the fitness machine was the price and not the computer. And, of course, it's ALWAYS a pleasure to see former contestants like Katherine come back to try it all again and the Showcase round certainly did not disappoint. Fabulous, lossless show in my humble opinion!  :-D

Cars in the 3 and 6 slots in a show happen most weeks. Not much of a coincidence at all, man.

Katherine's repeating path was uncanny, until a 1793 difference didn't win the SC this time.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Once in a while, a big car game (Golden Road, 3 Strikes, Triple Play, Temptation) is played first, especially during big money week.

Recap posted.

I would say today was some manic energy, especially between Emmanuel and Kamasha. Probably the most manic we've seen this season.

That I can agree on!  A perfect show in my book too (as far as the main game…not counting, of course, the Low SC that was won—and it was for a car too!) Best show so far this season.

Excellent show!

It's VERY rare to get a perfect show (the show counts a $10,000+ win in Plinko as a win, as proven during PCH week a few years back, so I don't see why we shouldn't) during a normal episode, and it's even more rare for said episode to just air in it's normal production spot rather than get moved around to a sweeps period or other special occasion. Shows like these are the best, imo, as it really feels like every win was earned with no gimme wins and several genuinely tricky pricing game set-ups. Plus there was no need for flash in the pan big wins though an easy pricing game set-ups to make this feel like a great show!

One of the most iconic quotes over the past three and a half decades remains as such today.

"It's not a lie...if you believe it." - George Constanza

In this case, I think it's fair enough to rephrase Jason Alexander's line and say "It's true if you believe it."  It's not considered lying if someone says Plinko is won when the center slot is hit.  Based on the original & official rules, however, it's not true either.  It's just respectively a false statement.

What determines a win or a loss is how much a player wins out of the stated amount at the beginning of the game ($25,000 from 1983-1998, and $50,000 from 1998-Present).  I've often said that they could emulate a particular Superball rule if they wanted to get a winner in Plinko.

At the end of the day, most people as well as myself would not care about "winning" Plinko if $10,000 or more is won (or even $2,500 / $5,000).  For one, TPTB doesn't really care either; several past contestants have spun last in the SCSD and/or been the top winner in the SC off of a very good Plinko run.  Finally, the biggest daytime winner played Plinko.  It was a special show, to be fair.

Anyway, Emmanuel did not "win" on the show, but he did great.  Perfect pricing (4 for 4) and a center slot hit is nice.  I don't think I've even seen someone "saddened" following a similar or better performance
