Fine show today....

Clock Game: Amanda was a player, no doubt about it.

More or Less: Some of us in chat said More for the first two.    Lasandra said LESS for the silverware and (insert buzzer).

Grand Game: Pretty much all of us in chat knew the Garlique and the Tidy Cats=DOOM.  When Melissa picked the Tidy Cats, all of us in chat were like "NOOOOOOO!"  The Peanut Gallery didn't approve either.  Yep, that move cost you $1,000 Melissa.

Balance Game: I liked Scott.  His hunch was my hunch $8402.   He's going cruisin!

Any Number: I had a hunch the other 1 and the zero were in the car's price and I was right.  Dorian ended up getting the serveware.  Hey, it's a lot better than that damned piggy bank.

One Right Price: When Heather put the $1221 on the bed, (insert buzzer).

SCSD 2: Scott has $11,000 spending money for that cruise!

Showcases: Lasandra was definitely OVER with her bid.

Scott, I'm disappointed in you...you should have gone with your hunch of $28,000.  And I'm disappointed in the Peanut Gallery making Scott change his bid.  They owe him a Ford Mustang Convertible now.  It does help to go with your first instinct, like on Match Game with Gene Rayburn.

Well at least all three cars will be used again later...

Clock Game:  Way to give ClockGameJohn a run for his money Amanda! :-D

Mo' Or Lo:  Everyone in the chat was split on the stemware.  I thought it was more and around $1500-something myself.

Grand Game:  Yikes.....giant cat litter sinks another one.

1 Right Price:  Nooooooo....that bed ain't *that* cheap!

SCSD #2:  BAM!  Glad to see another $10K win!

Showcase #1:  I was thinking both $28K and $29K woulda been over.  Turns out, he shoulda went with his 1st instict anyway.

Overall:  An ok show.

Amanda's playing of Clock Game was beautiful.

More or Less was set up to be won.  The only tricky part was the stemware being more...but not too difficult of a decision.

That second showdown was just plain surreal.

Oh...and Heather. :-D
They can be close at the top, too.

Ok i gonna go straight to the point...

1. More or Less & Grand Game loss piss me off.

2. Glad to see Scott win $11,000 on the wheel.

3. I been knew that Lashondra was over. There was no way that the whole home gym with spa showcase was $23,000.

4. I bid $28,437 on 1st showcase that Scott had and missed it by $54!!! Yay ME!

5. OOH Scott! How could u not kno that listenin to the peanut gallery is harmful to do? You should have stuck with your gut wit $28,000.

Balance Game: WOOOWWWWWW!!!!....i simply couldn't believe my eyes when it balanced ( this may be the second time it has actually balanced :-D). The last time it balanced (last month??) i was in a different room when that happened.

I'd have to admit after the three overbids, i was laughing so hard ( dunno why). Which only made me laugh even harder at what Bob had said after the third overbid *imitates overbid buzzer*.

M or L: OH jeez! it made it sound like the sound department was a little bit slow on the losing horns after the losing buzzer

ok, so maybe they didn't intend to use the losing horns then..... but i don't even think it was used at all yesterday

(i couldn't tell since i missed most of yesterday's episode  :-( )
< loves it when Drew Carey attempts to make an inspiration putt, and when it misses the hole, he just does a little second putt with the ball to sink it

( as was in his 500th show) ROFL!!!

Clock Game:  Amanda's time of 17 seconds remaining is just a half-second off Sally's mark!  Nice win!!  :-D

More or Less:  This was set up for a loss after the first prize in my opinion.

Grand Game:  DON'T PICK THE EVIL KITTY LITTER!!  :-(

Balance Game '06:  This was pretty easy to me.

Any Number:  Once again, we have a pretty tricky setup for this game today.

1 Right Price:  Awwww...tough break there I'm afraid.  :-(

Showcases:  Well, we have had 16 double overbids this season already, and each one of 'em (this one included) is painful to watch.  For the records, this is the second double overbid in as many weeks.

These double overbids are starting to become a bad habit; let's just hope and pray that there won't be three in a row like last season.

EDIT:

Oops...did I just forget my overall grade.  Here it is:  C+

A few comments on the show from being in the audience that day:

Clock Game: Amanda did a great job.

IUFB 2: The audience was restless by the 2nd overbid - turns out that was the theme for today - multiple overbids.

More or Less: I thought this was an easy setup.  For anyone who's curious, the car was marked $16,300 - and probably would have been less.

IUFB 3: Overbids again.. Gah!

Grand Game: This is where the Peanut gallery chimes in and usually gives good advice.

SC Showdown 1: Bob's actually right - I've NEVER seen anyone give a doctor's excuse that she couldn't spin the wheel.

Balance Game: Nice win.

Any Number: I think I would have lost this game too.

IUFB 6: During the break, Heather gave Bob a poster/calendar of I think it was the Texas bikini girls or something like that, and when Bob opened it and saw what it was, he replied "I'll be back - I'm going to my dressing room."

She told me later that she wanted to give it to Bob when she got picked (Incidentally, Rich before the show says you shouldn't bring gifts to Bob to contestant's row, you should wait for the commercial stopdowns), but since she wasn't picked yet, she decided to give it to Bob during the commercial stopdown.

1 Right Price: Now this on the other hand, was set up for a win.

SC Showdown 2:

That second showdown was just plain surreal.

I couldn't have said it any better myself.

Showcases: Incidentally, when I was in line next to Colleen and webguyaz, we played a game where we tried to price all of the cars that were on the show that passed us on Beverly Blvd.  The one most common car was the Ford Mustang Convertible - and I joked we'd end up seeing it in the show.  Turns out I was right.

I don't blame Scott for his bid - I'd think Scott would realize the peanut gallery actually had some credibility (given that they were right about Grand Game).  It seemed like the theme of the show today anyway - overbids galore.

Either way, I'm glad I got to shake Bob's hand at the end of the show! I didn't know he actually has makeup on his hands too.

Well, according to the airdate list, I believe you said in chat that you are going to the May 31st taping, that show would be airing one week from this coming Friday.

I wish I still had Sally's episode on tape... 'cause dang, Amanda played Clock Game splendidly!  I want to compare side by side.  Seriously, that had to have been one of the best playings of the game in Clock Game history!

More or Less played more or less just like Roger wanted.  No way anyone could miss the luggage, and most normal people were going to miss the stemware.

Any Number probably should've been won.  Since the first number in the serveware was obviously not 0 or 1, Dorian really should've called those instead of 5.  Not sure why he didn't.  Maybe he just really would've been upset winning the piggybank over the serveware?  Or he just didn't really think the game through.  Yeah, I'll put my money on that one.

Guess Balance Game's mini is over.  And I guess it is possible to win!

No.  The stemware was a complete toss-up for me, and for most contestants, it was screaming "less!"

Why are you back?  There's no good reason that should've pissed you off such.

Clock Game: Well done by Amanda.

GG: The Evil cat litter trap strikes again.

Any Number: I would have lost this as well.  I thought the 5 was in the car.

ORP: THIS should have won.  I can't fathom a bed being only $1200.

SC1: WILLY!  $23K was WAY too high.  $16,000, while over, sounded better.

SC2: DOH!  And Scott would have won this had he stuck with the $28K bid, like I did.

Amanda played Clock Game exceptionally well. Good for her.

I said less on the stemware too. But I knew Roger would throw a curve ball on that one.

If only Melissa listened to the audience. I knew it was over when picked and sticked to the cat litter.

My instinct said $8402 on Greece as well. Good job by a rather excited fellow Canuck.

Tough break for Dorian. Well at least he has the serveware.

$1281 on the bed?! Are you crazy?!

I wanted Dorian to win the second showcase showdown.

I wonder what Scott's reaction had he stuck to his first choice and won it. Nice going man for turning to the peanut gallery! Lasandra was definitely over with her bid of $23,000. At least they were right about that.
