I wasn't a fan of the regular $20,000, but that was the only game that wasn't won.  I wonder if they would've surprised them this season with the same take home pay had they bailed at $5,000 (as opposed to a split)

It would've been special had they thrown in TWO BMW's in that second showcase, but I guess it didn't matter since it wasn't won.  Unless I'm mistaken, even if they bid $50,000, per the audience suggestion, they still would've lost.  Nonetheless, two decent showcase bids

Nope, they would’ve won with a $50,000 bid. They would’ve been off by $2,623, just edging out the other bidders’ difference of $2,656.

You're right.  I took notes and put down the wrong difference (somehow put $2,256 instead of 2,656).  Tough break there indeed...thanks!

Seems unusual that they revealed two correct lower items in Hot Seat first, before the first higher (which was also correct)?

Most times, they seem to do one of each first (of course, that assumes that there is one of each that is right).

That always seemed to make it easier, since if they already revealed a lower that was correct, then move you to a higher you know that is correct (as they have never had all five be the same, either four and one or two and three), where here when they went to a second lower you might wonder if that is in fact wrong and you got nothing that was higher correct, but then when you get to the third (now a higher) you know that is right.

So, it's a harder choice to make for the second item (not a guaranteed correct answer), but then you can go on a step further knowing it will be right.

Just got a chance to watch the other night. It was nice to have the celebrity guests not be featured through the show like they normally are on the at Night shows.

Other than the games played for two cars and the trip in Double Prices the prices of the prizes in the pricing games were all pretty low for nighttime.

Not the easiest Hot Seat setup at all even though they didn't increase the top prize, the salt and pepper shakers and toothbrushes were both tricky (especially the toothbrushes).

Great win in That's Too Much, I figured with the larger difference in price from the last one $60,345 was right.
