Yeah, I’ve seen her name in the end credits plenty of times. Rest in peace.

Bud Grant, the Minnesota Vikings coach who led the team to 4 NFC Championships, which unfortunately for the Vikings ended up with losses in Super Bowls 4, 8, 9, and 11 has died at age 95. Bud Grant was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the class of 1994.

Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

Paul O'Grady, MBE DL, also known as Lily Savage, the drag character, and host of Blankety Blank in the United Kingdom (their version of Match Game), has died at age 67 according to his partner, André Portasio.

This has been a rough week for the drag community, as we just lost Darcella XV, the oldest living active drag queen at the age of 92 on March 24.

Political satirist and pianist Mark Russell, known for his regular comedy specials on PBS for almost 30 years has died from complications of prostate cancer at age 90. I was at our local PBS station in Buffalo for a taping and learned that my fellow Buffalo native had the green room named for him in his honor. Parodied many times, probably most famously on The Simpsons in the episode "Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington" and by Mark McKinney in a 1996 SNL skit. He will be missed.
