My Mother-In-Law was on an episode that aired March 1981
« on: June 02, 2023, 12:04:37 AM »
My mother-in-law was on an episode that aired in 1981, and I would love to track down her episode for an upcoming birthday. I know it aired in March, she correctly guessed the price of a watch, after which she played I believe Double Prices, where they showed her a Waterbed and a Bartop, she guessed the price was for the Waterbed and won the Waterbed. If anybody has any records of March 1981 episodes, I would greatly appreciate it. Her name is Martha.

Hi, you mentioned that she played Double Prices but then described the gameplay of One Right Price instead.

I did some digging and found that the records of March 1981 are a little spotty, however I could narrow it down to these episodes.

If she played "Double Prices"
4025D (3/6/81)
4042D (3/17/81)
4054D (3/26/81)

If she played "One Right Price"
4021D (3/2/81)
4032D (3/10/81)
4045D (3/20/81)
4062D (3/31/81)

Out of those episodes, 4025D, 4032D, and 4045D are out there but do not have recaps, meaning that while somebody has them or at least at one point in time had them, everything beyond what six games were played in what order is not publicly accessible knowledge as of now.

I wish I could be of more assistance here, hopefully this will help!

This was incredibly helpful, thank you! I was told since she only won the one prize and not both, it could not have been 1 Right Price? But I'm not sure if that's true, which is why I assumed it was Double Prices.

There aren't any partials in 1 Right Price.  I'm guessing that your mother-in-law may have played Clock Game since you can get something right in that game, but then time would run out before the second prize is won
