Those drums in Shopping Spree looked more expensive than they actually were. $500?

I agree with Drew. The answering machine in Back to '73 even looked "super cool". And I really liked hearing the cue played for it. Beautiful music; too bad they didn't get to the flute part as I remember it.

I think it would've been super cool to own an answering machine in 1973, period.  Nonetheless, tremendous music indeed.  Classic PIR tunes, TBH, helps with my admiration for Back to 73

Rough mix of tough setups and bad luck going our way today. The drums as mentioned, domestic trips just being really pricey, and a really expensive set of items in Roll. The luck wasn't there in Roll or a "nicer" setup in Line.

Just really been winding down the season with some subpar shows. This ended up being one of the better showings this week, but it was still just okay.

Hoping we can swing up for the final regular shows (and the makegoods).

Shopping Spree made it feel like the game was broken. The contestant obviously lost after the first choice and the next two selections were pointless. The producers should never put a prize on Shopping Spree that is so low as to guarantee the contestant’s loss if revealed early.

Had the lowest priced prize been significantly higher than the lowest price of prize that show offered, there could have been a chance that she could have still won. Has the show offered a prize (non-SP) less than $500 in a pricing game this millennium?

Drew knew she had lost when the first prize was chosen and they went through the motions of completing the loss with two additional choices.

The producers need to stop including deceptively cheap prizes in Shopping Spree because the game appears broken (like Clearance Sale was), after this playing.

2 examples:
For Spree playings in the Drew Era , his 1st season had 3 separate times in which the game had a prize less than $500
Make Your Move had a $470 prize in a playing in Season 48.

This Shopping Spree playing was difficult in general since really any of the four prizes looked like possibilities to be the least expensive one IMO. None of them screamed out as being a must pick prize to me (even though the Apple suite ended up being over $5,000!).

The only one I knew for sure would be a higher price in Shopping Spree was the Apple electronics suite.
