Now we know the one-two punch that pushed this episode so far back: a trip to Turkey in Pick-a-Pair, followed by a trip to Maui in the showcases.

Seeing the effects of the lighting grid in Studio 33 right next to the effects of the lighting grid in Haven really is a night and day difference.

"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

The events were the Turkey-Syria Earthquake on 2/6/2023 and the Maui fires on 8/8/2023.

It's a pretty long drive from Phoenix to Lake Havasu, about 200 miles. Vegas would be closer at 150 miles.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this episode was scheduled for late June (which was before the wildfires in Maui on August 8), but was pulled again. Had Turkey still not recovered from the earthquake in June, so they pulled the episode again? Also, it's a bit weird seeing the Season 51 banner after being used to the Season 52 banner for two months.

I don't think it was so much that as that they shuffled things around so the last show to air during the regular broadcast season would be the final show taped in Television City.  The same thing happened with 0041L, except that one didn't need to get delayed a third time once we hit September.

(By the way, if you see a note that I edited your post, all I did was shut off the smileys.  Typing "8" followed by ")" generates one even though that's pretty much never the intent.)

I am archiving this thread in a week since it's really an S51 episode and I chose to use the 51 banner
