Ugh, a $112 WSD in the showcase. Wonder if that’s the closest overbid we’ve had this season, I haven’t been following too much.

Also, any time I see a Mitsubishi Mirage, I briefly remember that there are cars still being manufactured that cost less than $20,000.

George reading the prize copy in Pathfinder:

Take of two halves today, but all three games in the second half were fairly winnable.
Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

It's the only car offered in the United States less than $20,000. There are some Renaults and company that are in the $16-$19K range still

Time Is Money! One of my favorite games! I know there is both time and peer (audience) pressure during the "second chance" part of the game, but I wish contestants in general would think more about the pricing. For example, placing today's nutrition bar on the $6 and up pad even one time seemed very unreasonable to me.

Not for too much longer as the 2024 is the last model year for the Mirage.

To answer the first question, the closest overbid in the Showcase round this season is currently $95. (1/29/2024)

Another Time is Money $0 win (yawn).

I'd rather play Bullseye I than this.  I detest this game the way it is currently played.
