Poor bid by Curtis on the ice cream maker. He got redemption in the end by winning his showcase.

Curtis actually said $1,200 as the initial bid on the ice cream machine.  That was edited out.

This At Night show was a downer compared to the other ones this month with just two wins, although neither Pick a Number nor Bargain Game had easy setups so they were both nice wins.

That was a beautiful Porsche, I was surprised she wasn't more off on her bid than she was with $66,900.

Curtis should've been able to get at least 2 rats, though I didn't think the garage door opener would be as cheap as it was.

I feel like the bonus should've been a little higher than the cash equivalent or they should've played Hole in One for a more expensive car with the windmill included, especially with the GPs being pretty brutal.

I agree, what a downer compared to the other primetime shows.  It was brutal to watch.

Terrence bantering with Drew was so much fun to watch. In an episode with sexed-up cars, gobs of cash, and mega showcases, the most entertaining part for me was two guys nerding out about motorcycles on TV.
Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

With the car's opening bid of $65K in Card Game, I was pretty sure the car was in the low 70s.
I can't get over how people were bidding $500-$600 in the One Bid.  They knew this was TPIR at Night and Drew said bigger prizes.    That's why if you see Freeze Frame at night, the prize def. starts with a 9.
Rat Race for all that cash is just unnecessary hype.  $175K is not that more exciting than $100K in the grand scheme of things.  The cash awards could have been $20, $30 and $50 and the contestant would have been thrilled to win just one of those.
The windmill was ok but I hate cash equivalent prizes because they don't create the same excitement as:   "If you make the hole in one with the windmill, you get the car plus $25,000 cash!"

I’m not surprised. He’s the same contestant that bid $1,299 in Contestant’s Row on a dining/game table bidding second after the first bidder said $1,300.

That’s sad that they edited out a $1,200 guess in Rat Race. That moment would have been memorialized on YouTube for all of eternity. Edits sort of ruin the show and makes me appreciate Roger’s style of live to tape even more.

Does anyone remember what Curtis’ shirt said?
