My usual Bonkers strategy (put all of the markers on the same side based on the first digit, then switch 2, 3, 2, 4, 2, 3, 2 in that order) probably would have lost, as I would have needed 6 guesses.

When was the last time somebody got both keys and ended up with the blank key and the smallest prize? BTW, there's a 1/10 chance of doing that.

Oh, and pardon me for being pedantic, but "currency" refers to bills, and the first two One Away images were coins (20 quarters and 10 half-dollars, IIRC).

The Cover Up win was really amazing! That was a great highlight of today's episode. I did not expect Nolan to get the right numbers after the 3rd try. I was expecting a 5th try.

I've been to 8 tapings this season. I learned that trip prices are harder than I assumed. I have had mixed results with guesses on trips. Inflation, location, domestic or international, etc. Oy vey!

Other than the first digit, with Bonkers I go higher if 4 or less, lower if 6 or higher. 5 I have to guess.

And it's kind of surprising how many people fail to do just that, given that it is quite often the right answer as it was here.  Seems it should be a standard starting guess, but unfortunately those actually playing just don't do that as they should :)

If the first one is 5, I'd go higher. I don't think they're going $4,999 or less anymore.

There seem to be few contestants who change strategy depending on the numbers but rather focus on the pattern and making sure they don't repeat answers.

Pardon me for being pedantic, but if One Away is being given quarters and half dollar designs, the entire staff has gone off its gourd. :P

Pardon me for being pedantic, but if you're watching this show and seeing images of currency on One Away, you should probably stop drinking before the show.
