The road begins with a package of Betty Crocker Golden Corn Bread & Muffin Mix, which will lead her to...

If she wins that, she can also win...

3 6 0 9

Wrong! Candice wins the boxing equipment, which Bob has her practice to vent any frustration for missing out on the viper.

Before the calldown, Bob caught Ellis trying to move Julianne down...pushing John clear out of the studio. Then Ellis would have the while thing to himself. :rollold:

The calldown, Steven, is with a group in the Navy.

2nd IUFB - A new video camera: Panasonic large color LCD Palmcorder camera featuring 50-to-1 digital zoom (Janice)

Before bidding, Bob points out a group of other "Barker's Beauties" in the audience (named Norma, Gertrude, and Dolores), three older women who will actually model the camera themselves. They need some practice. :P

|Ellis|Julianne|STEVEN|John|
|$975|$1100|$900|$950|

BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ! And those contestants need some practice in bidding. Maybe that was the practice for the real thing, which is lower than $900.

|Ellis|Julianne|STEVEN|John|
|$500|$699|$800|$675|

Actual Retail Price: $850!

Steven is playing Freeze Frame for a febulous sauna: Almost Heaven of Renick, West Virginia freestanding barrel sauna that provides soothing steam for relaxation (Chantel).

Ellis is playing Penny Ante for new kitchen appliances: Maytag complete kitchen with full line of appliances including gas range, Jetclean dishwasher, refrigerator, and washer/dryer, a prize package worth $2,850 (Chantel).

With three pennies, Ellis must guess the correct price of two grocery products:
1. Geritol Complete multivitamins

4th IUFB - A new laptop computer: IBM ThinkPad iSeries all-in-one portable computer with ingenious design, intense multimedia, and incredible IBM support (Janice)

Just before Rod could read the full prize copy, Bob said we should give the older "Beauties" one more chance. They come on down again (along with a fourth one named Alberta), and Rod reads. Dolores is beginning to feel it, and she actually did well!

|DARLENE|Julianne|Kendra|John|
|$725|$2000|$2700|$2250|

Actual Retail Price: $1,499!

Darlene is playing Clock Game for a comfortable sofa and a telescoping desk:
1: Alan White Co. sofa that's classic but casual in 100% cotton print fabric with dressmaker skirt, contrast welting, and overstuffed seat cushions (Chantel)
2: Bush Furniture telescoping desk combining contemporary styling with hi-tech convenience, quality ready-to-assemble furniture for today's lifestyle (Kathleen)

And guess what? Darlene has seen the show often but not this pricing game. She thinks she's watched about 100 shows, but the show has been on for 27 years Monday to Friday. However, she had to work and make money for her children, so that's more understandable.

As Bob explained the rules, someone in the audience shouted something. Bob jokingly calls for security, and he asks the "Beauties" to take care of the "intruder".
:oldlol:

Darlene has 30 seconds to give the correct price for both prizes.

The price of the sofa is $799. The clock will start with the first bid:

$2250▼, $1150▼, $900▼, $700▲, $850▼, $800▼, $775▲, $789▲, $790▲, $795▲, $798▲, $799!

*DING DING DING DING DING DING* Darlene wins the sofa with 8 seconds left! (And unlike other players who recognize it afterwards, Darlene really didn't know about this game.)

The price of the desk is $939. The clock will start with the first bid:

$500▲, $600▲, $700▲, $900▲, $1100▼, $1000▼, $995▼

MRRRRRRRP! Darlene did okay for not having seen this game, and she leaves with the sofa.

5th IUFB - A colorful new area rug: Nourison Natural Mongol Kilim Collection elegant handwoven rug, the original design and depth of color creating a beautiful centerpiece in any room (Chantel and Kathleen)

|NIKKI|Julianne|Kendra|John|
|$1550|$799|$650|$1100|

Actual Retail Price: $1,099!

Janice brings in the price tags.

2. Sanyo cordless telephone with distance technology, lets you take your cordless phone where you want (Chantel)

Wrong! She'd better not have to make any long-range calls.

3. Wrist remote controller that controls TV, VCR, and cable box all from your wrist (Kathleen)

Julianne thinks the price is FALSE.

Julianne picks $17,520. NO. 1 pick left.

6th IUFB - A new barbecue: Ducane Gas Grills 5004 S grill featuring whopping cooking surface and a rotisserie for slow-cooking or roasting to perfection (Janice and Kathleen)

Also going to the winner is a supply of Hot Pockets Toaster Breaks Pizza (Janice)

|Nikki|KENNETH|Kendra|John|
|$525|$375|$1100|$425|

Actual Retail Price: $1,211!

Already too low with his final bid, John must grab a bite at the First Four Breakfast Club.

Kendra is playing Range Game for a trip to Singapore: Fly with a guest round-trip coach from L.A. to Singapore for a 6-night stay in a deluxe room at the Royal Crowne Plaza hotel, ideally situated in the heart of town and near the financial district with many tourist attractions (Chantel)

The price is between $6700 and $7300.

Once she presses that button, the rangefinder doesn't start again for 37 hours. ;)

Kendra stops the range at $6852-$7002.

The actual price is... $7085.

She really missed the mark. Kendra will be back for the Showcase Showdown after the break.

Contestants not appearing onstage will receive Waverly Heirloom wall coverings, a gift from Invention Submission Corporation by calling 1-800-288-IDEA, and a Libman Wonder Mop.

Okay, maybe Darlene has seen Clock Game way back then. She probably means when Bob had dark hair. She knows that you get $1,000 for spinning the dollar, but she doesn't know what the green sections are worth. After she's told, she then knows that the double dollar is worth $10,000 more.
